After all, two of the biggest millennial superstars and actors- Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan achieved the much-deserved limelight, and look, today they are everywhere. While Kartik has been in the industry since 2011 when he did Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sara would often be seen at various parties but it was only, post her appearance on Koffee with Karan, that she shot up to stardom. Sara Ali Khan had confessed on Koffee with Karan season 6 that she would like to go on a date with Kartik Aaryan, and since then, her name has been closely attached with him. Sara and Kartik have become a binary, and you will see this binary in Imtiaz Ali’s next film. While Sara confirmed the same on her Instagram handle by writing, “Honoured, grateful and uncontrollably excited to be a part of Imtiaz Ali ‘s next!,” Kartik wrote, “Honored to embark on a journey with my Favourite #ImtiazAli’s Next with @saraalikhan95 and @randeephooda releasing on 14th Feb 2020. Aur ji haan, issi film ki shooting chalu hai.”
It seems that Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan have become inseparable now. A couple of days ago, Sara bagged the Best Actress Debut award at the Filmfare awards for her role in Kedarnath. Sara elatedly posted about the same on Instagram and wrote, “Thank you Filmfare for giving me this honour- being able to kiss the black lady is truly surreal. Team Kedarnath this one is for each and every one of you. Thank you for making my dream come true. Jai Bholenath.”
And guess who replied to her post? Well, it was Kartik Aaryan obviously. He commented sweetly, “Congratulations Sara. Ab to coffee se kaam nhi chalega, Dilli mein party karte hain (Just coffee won’t do, let’s party in Delhi).” Well, ever since Sara and Kartik has come into the limelight, we have been wanting to see their coffee date pictures. And now, Kartik’s comment has left us all confused and yet doting on them.
Kartik recently appeared on Zoom’s celebrity talk show, By Invite Only. Kartik Aaryan also appeared on Koffee with Karan and when Karan asked him about the follow-up when it comes to Sara Alia Khan, Kartik had blushingly replied, “So, what I'm doing is, sir, I'm just trying to, you know, earn more and more money right now. Saif (Ali Khan) sir said, 'Does he have the money?' So, I'm just..." Karan further probed, “And, you clearly don't have the money that can match the Prince of Pataudi.” Kartik answered, “I don't know. She is a princess. So, you know, to ask her out on a date, you know, I would require a certain bank balance.”
In a recent interview with Anupama Chopra, Kartik had confessed that he is only in a relationship with his work. Kartik had said, “Mere andar phir guilt reh jata hai ki yaar main iss relationship main hoon (but) main time nahi de pa raha hoon. So, that is something I don’t want to do with the other person. That’s the reason I’m committed to my fans and work right now.”
During the promotions of his last film, Luka Chuppi, Kartik Aaryan had shared how his mother gets super-friendly with all his girlfriends, and had said, “Whenever I get into a relationship, my mother ends up befriending my girl. And later if something goes wrong between me and my girlfriend, my mom continues to remain friends with her and then that gets really awkward between me my mom and my girlfriend or ex-girlfriend (Laughs). So that has always been a problem.
