'Bigg Boss 18' Fame, Kashish Kapoor Files FIR Against House Help, Accuses Him Of Rs. 4.5 Lakh Theft

Actress Kashish Kapoor, who earned massive fame following her stint in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, Bigg Boss 18, is back in the headlines. The reality TV fame recently filed a police complaint against her domestic help for allegedly stealing a lump sum of more than Rs. 4 lakh from her residence in Mumbai’s Andheri West. The incident has created a stir online, with fans questioning the safety of celebrities’ assets in their very homes. A search has been launched to trace down the accused, who fled upon being confronted about the theft.

Kashish Kapoor files a police complaint against her house help, alleging monetary theft

Kashish Kapoor hails from Bihar and currently resides in Mumbai’s Andheri West, in New Ambivali Society on Veera Desai Road. On July 9, 2025, the 24-year-old actress lodged a formal complaint to the Amboli police via an FIR. According to her complaint, her housekeeper, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, who has been working for her over the past five months, allegedly stole a large sum of cash from her cupboard drawer.

Kashish allegedly had a total amount of Rs. 7 lakh stored in her cupboard on July 6, 2025. However, on July 9, 2025, when she went to withdraw the money, she found only Rs. 2.5 lakh cash remaining in the drawer, with no trace of cash worth Rs. 4.5 lakh.

The suspicion eventually landed on Kashish’s domestic help and housekeeper, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary. According to reports, Sachin had been working at the Splitsvilla X5 star’s residence for the past five months, reporting for work at around 11:30 am and leaving by 1 pm.

After realising the shortage of cash, Kashish confronted Sachin, who was present at the time and appeared frightened. He also refused to show his pockets when Kashish demanded it. Only moments later, he reportedly pulled out Rs 50,000, threw it inside the house, and fled.

The very same day, Kashish approached the Amboli police and filed a complaint against Sachin. On July 9, 2025, an FIR was filed against him under Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. This provision is especially for those working under domestic employment who commit theft. Authorities have already begun their probe into the matter and are in the middle of tracing the accused.
