Katie Bates Reveals Why Husband, Travis Clark Confessed Infidelity Publicly, 'For What He Has Done'

Katie, in her long Instagram note, wrote that it is not how she imagined the beginning of the New Year. Katie stated that many know that her marriage has hit a rough patch and her trust has been broken. She added that she has been taking life one day at a time and focusing on what matters to her. She wrote:

"This is not how I imagined beginning this year or this new season of our lives. This has been an incredibly painful time for me and for our family. As many now know, our marriage has been deeply hurt and my trust has been broken. Right now, I am taking life one day at a time and focusing on what matters most: our children, their future, and my own healing."

Katie Bates added that they are working together and individually to seek counsel and determine the best path forward for their family. Currently, their ultimate focus is their children, and they are their highest priority. Katie further requested privacy for her family and stated that social media is her work and that she cannot delay it any longer. 

For the unversed, Travis Clark made a shocking revelation with an Instagram story. He made the confession just a day after Katie Blates announced that she had a miscarriage. Travis, in his note, shared that he was unfaithful to his wife and had an affair. It seems like Travis has been dealing with a lot after his wife lost their third child, and he might have realised his mistake. In his Instagram note, Travis apologised to Katie. He confessed that he was unfaithful to her. He accepted that he had an affair and had broken her trust many times. While he didn't give any excuse, he took the responsibility for failing as a husband. 

Travis apologised for the pain, humiliation and betrayal he caused his wife. Travis further urged people on the internet to respect his wife's privacy, as she is going through the most difficult time. He accepted that his apology cannot repair what he broke, and that forgiveness is neither something he deserves nor can ask for.
