Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal had taken the internet by storm when they had shared the pictures from their grand wedding held at Six Senses Fort, Barwara, in Rajasthan, on December 9, 2021. The much-in-love couple, Katrina and Vicky had tied the knot in the presence of their close friends and family and had opted for the perfect Sabyasachi ensembles.
However, do you know that Vicky and Katrina did not see each other's wedding attires? In an interview with Vogue India, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who had designed Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding outfits had revealed that the two had seen each other’s outfits only on their D-Day. Talking about the same, he had said:

“The bride and groom didn’t see what the other was wearing until the day of the wedding, so it was beautiful to witness how in sync their visions were even as we worked on their ensembles, separately. Katrina is methodical and meticulous, and that made it easy for me to interpret their vision through my aesthetic.”

A few moments back, ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee shared some pictures from Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's mehendi ceremony and gave a brief description of the couple's outfit and jewellery. For the ceremony, Katrina had donned a Sabyasachi Mukherjee mehendi-green lehenga and had looked super gorgeous. She had channelised her Punjabi bride side with a maang teeka, a matching neckpiece and a pair of jhumkis. Shedding light on Katrina's look, Sabyasachi wrote:
"Katrina Kaif @katrinakaif in a @sabyasachiofficial multi-coloured matka silk lehenga with an embroidered tulle dupatta for her Mehendi ceremony. Jewellery from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery collection @sabyasachijewelry."

Well, not just Katrina Kaif but also her then-groom, Vicky Kaushal had put his best foot forward and had complemented her on their mehendi ceremony. Vicky had looked dapper in a green pathani suit. Talking about the then-groom's look, Sabyasachi wrote:
"Vicky Kaushal @vickykaushal09 in an embroidered raw silk bandhgala jacket, paired with a mint silk kurta and a Bangalore silk ivory salwar for his Mehendi ceremony."

A few days back, Sabyasachi Mukherjee had taken to his IG handle and had given a brief description of Katrina Kaif's floral saree with a trailing veil. He had shared that it had taken 1800 hours and 40 artisans to create the vintage-inspired saree. He had written:
"Katrina Kaif @katrinakaif pays tribute to her mother’s British heritage during the pre-wedding festivities. Sabyasachi conceptualised and created a vintage-inspired couture sari with a trailing veil. Silhouetted like a white wedding gown, the pastel tulle sari is embellished with hand-cut English flowers, embroidered by craftswomen from Bengal and liberally sprinkled with semi-precious gems and crystals. The ensemble took 40 artisans over 1800 hours to handcraft."
Not just Katrina's saree but also her statement jewellery was from the shelves of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Katrina Kaif had completed her look with an uncut diamond broad choker neckpiece and matching earrings. Sharing the details about Katrina's jewellery, the designer had written:
"The sari is paired with a statement uncut diamond choker detailed with opals and pale Russian emeralds, with matching earrings from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery @sabyasachijewelry"
On the other hand, the then-groom, Vicky Kaushal was also decked in Sabyasachi attire on his big day. His look was put together by his stylist, Amandeep Kaur. Vicky had beautifully complemented Katrina's outfit and had looked dashing in the pastel ashes of rose-coloured bandhgala with trousers in Merino wool embedded with Sabyasachi tiger-emblemed gold plated buttons. The pictures had looked nothing less than a dreamy affair! Talking about Vicky's outfit, Sabyasachi had written:
"The groom @vickykaushal09 wears a Bangalore silk embroidered sherwani and matching churidar with Sabyasachi gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons and custom made juttis by @sabyasachiaccessories."
