Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are one of the most adorable couples in Bollywood. The lovebirds never leave a chance to mesmerise everyone with their mushy romance and cutesy chemistry. From celebrating festivals together to hyping each other's work, the duo shelled major couple goals. Currently, Vicky is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Sam Bahadur, which is a biographical drama based on the life of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. Amidst the promotions of his film, the actor has been attending several events, and during one such event, he revealed the reason why his wife, Katrina Kaif, hated him.
In a candid conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Vicky Kaushal opened up about his upcoming film, Sam Bahadur. Talking about the same, the actor revealed that his darling wife, Katrina Kaif was well aware of the making of the film. He also mentioned that she was happy to see Sam Bahadur's look. Mentioning that his clean-shaven look didn't come as a surprise to Katrina, Vicky stated that despite being aware of the whole process, she hated him for being clean-shaven. In his words:
"She was very happy to see the look of Sam Bahadur and the kind of work that was going behind it, she was aware of the whole process of the shooting. It didn't come as a surprise to her but she hated me when I was clean-shaven."

Further, in the same conversation, Vicky revealed how he has been trying to make Katrina happy. Talking about the same, the handsome hunk stated that he is making up for his clean-shaven look by growing up his beard this year. Elaborating more about it, Vicky said:
"But I am making up for it this year with the look I have. But she loved the look of Sam Bahadur."
Earlier, in an interview with Instant Bollywood, Vicky talked about experimenting with his looks. Elaborating more about it, the actor mentioned that until and unless a character requires him to be clean-shaved, he prefers to have a beard. Vicky also revealed that nobody, including his wife, Katrina, likes him without a beard. In his words:
"Being clean shaven is an occupational hazard for me. I will only do that if a role requires me to do that otherwise I prefer myself with a beard. She prefers me in beard. She doesn't like me clean shaven, neither do I without a beard. Nobody likes me in clean shaven, myself also."

Earlier, in a conversation with ANI, Vicky opened up about his family life with his wife, Katrina Kaif. Talking about the same, the actor revealed he and his darling wifey love to munch on each other's favourite cuisine. Elaborating more on it, Vicky revealed that earlier, he loved white butter and paranthas, but now, he likes pancakes too, which is Katrina's favourite. On the other hand, Katrina too, started to eat paranthas.
