Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. The diva never skips a chance to leave people in awe of her. Talking about the diva's friendship, Kareena has always been open about her selective bonding in Bollywood. However, Kareena has always shared an amicable relationship with her cousin Ranbir Kapoor's love flames, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt. However, recently, an old video of Katrina made rounds on Reddit, wherein she talked about her bonding with Kareena, and it's all things adorable.
In the old video, Katrina Kaif was seen being told by the host of an interview that Kareena Kapoor Khan called the former her friend. The host said that Kareena, who says that she does not have many actress friends and it's only Amrita Arora Ladak, who is her friend, said that she likes Katrina. The host said:
"Kareena was saying ‘I don’t have too many friends in the industry, you cannot be friends with too many actresses.’ But she said ‘Katrina yes, I like her, she’s honest. I meet her, it’s a small world we’re going to meet at parties. But I really like her and do call her friend.’ That’s something she doesn’t compliment everybody about. She says Amrita is my friend, that’s it. But you guys have become very thick."

Going further in the interview, Katrina Kaif opened up about her equation with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actress stated that whenever she meets Kareena, she feels a sense of warmth. The actress further added that she is a very sensitive person and can actually feel who is being real or fake. However, later, she revealed a very heart-touching anecdote about Kareena Kapoor Khan. Katrina said that Kareena actually used to pass on advice to her through their mutual friend. Katrina said:
"Whenever I meet her, there’s a great sense of warmth. I’m a very sensitive person, I can always feel that and I can feel if a person is being fake or not. With Kareena, before we even used to interact much, she would always pass on advice to me through a mutual friend of ours that tell Katrina to be careful or this, tell her to do this, tell her not to do this; and really good advice, which she didn’t have to give me. She could’ve seen me doing some wrong and let me dig my own hole. It was really sweet of her to pass on these messages, so by the time I met her there was already a mutual respect I had for her.”

Although Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been contemporaries, how the latter looked after the former in the past days was loved by netizens. As soon as the video went viral, netizens rushed to the comment section to drop their comments. Reacting to the video, one user wrote, "They have a lot of mutual respect for one another." Another user took to the comment section and penned, "Kareena is very selective with ppl but she is a great friend to whom she chooses to be friends with." A third comment reads, "Kareena always low-key wanted Ranbir to marry Katrina. Was evident in the KwK episode."

For the unversed, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor had been in a steady relationship for a few years. The duo was one of the much-loved couples back in the day. So much so that speculations about their marriage often made rounds on social media. Fast forward to now, both Ranbir and Katrina are happily married in their respective lives with their respective partners.
It was back on her appearance on Koffee With Karan when Kareena slightly hinted at the same. While being there on the show with Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena was asked by Karan that with which actress she would like a gay encounter with. To this, Kareena had taken Ranbir's then-girlfriend Katrina's name and called her sister-in-law. Kareena said:
"I would be more comfortable with my sister-in-law, so I say, Katrina Kaif. I’ve got my lehenga ready and I’m rehearsing the steps to Sheila Ki Jawani and Chikni Chameli.”
