For the unversed, dating rumours around the two began in mid-July, when the couple was seen dining together in Montreal. Well, after multiple speculations and reports, the Roar singer has finally made her relationship official.

A while ago, on December 5, 2025, Katy Perry took to her Instagram handle and shared glimpses from her trip to Tokyo. For the unversed, Katy is in the country for her Lifetimes Tour show. What looked like a simple tour dump turned out to be the best surprise to her fans as she confirmed her relationship with Justin. In the carousel shared, Katy and Justin looked madly in love with each other. It is worth mentioning that this is the first time Katy has posted Justin on her feed. 

In one of the photos shared by Katy Perry, she and Justin Trudeau posed together for a selfie. They were smiling outdoors with a gorgeous background behind them. The former Canadian Prime Minister was wearing a black peacoat and Katy Perry had on a leather coat over a dark green hoodie. In another video, Katy was seen trying a piece of sushi and Justin was adoring her with love in his eyes. And in a third clip, the couple was standing against a sparkling wall of lights.

Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry met former Japanese Prime Minister

Two days before Katy Perry, Justin Trudeau had taken to his X handle (formerly Twitter) and shared a photo of him and Katy Perry along with the former Japanese Prime Minister. It is worth mentioning that the photo was originally shared by Fumio Kishida. Sharing the photo, Justin Trudeau had penned:

"Great to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone."
