Khan Sir Celebrates Raksha Bandhan, 15,000+ Girls Tie Rakhi In Heartwarming Video 'Is Kalyug Mein..'

The Internet’s favourite teacher, Khan Sir, is back in the headlines. Just months after hosting a grand reception feast for over 50,000 students, the Patna-based educator and YouTuber has once again won hearts, this time with an outpouring of love from thousands of ‘sisters’ across the country. Raksha Bandhan 2025 turned into a festival of unity, love, and humanity when more than 15,000 girl students tied rakhis on Khan Sir’s wrists in a celebration that’s now gone viral.

Khan Sir struggles to move his hands after over 15,000 students tied rakhis

In a video shared on Instagram on August 9, 2025, Khan Sir showed his hands, which were so full of rakhis that he could barely lift them. The beloved teacher flaunted his rakhi-clad hands and beamed with a smile, overwhelmed by the love he received from his students. In a now-viral video, Khan Sir was heard saying:

“Aaj hunara Rakhi toh 15,000 se zyada ho gaya hai, uth bhi nahi pa raha haath mera… Is kalyug mein hum itne saubhagyashali hai jo itna rakhi bandha gaya hai yahan pe… saubhagya dekhiye, aaj koi behen, koi ladki kisi pe bharosa nahi kar paati hai, aur aaj itna saubhagya ka din hai mere liye.”

The original clip has already racked up more than 8 million views in less than 24 hours. The event, held at Patna’s Sri Krishna Memorial Hall, saw a massive turnout of Khan Sir’s students who came from different corners of India to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with their favourite teacher cum brother. Khan Sir called the girls his ‘sisters’ and praised them for rising above caste, religion, and state boundaries. In his words:

“Jaati, dharam, rajya, sabhi simayein langh kar, aaj manavta ke liye Raksha Bandhan manaya jaata hai. Is din ki shubhkamnayein pure deshvasiyon ko… Har Raksha Bandhan ke bad ye zimmedari hoti hai ek behen ki, hum wada karte hai, tahe dil se wo nibhayenge… pure vishwa ko batayenge, ki is tyohar ke upar koi tyohar nahi ho sakta.”

Khan Sir’s Raksha Bandhan gift to his ‘sisters’

Khan Sir, known for his affordable coaching and relatable teaching style, won hearts by announcing that he had reduced the price of his GK GS Crash Course plan to just Rs. 99 for all his ‘sisters’ who couldn’t attend the event. He announced:

“Jo ladkiyan nahi aa paayi, aur sabka kehna hai ki online walon ke liye kuch gift de dijiye, toh pura GK GS ka crash course keval Rs. 99 mein hum de diye hai.”

Adding to the festive spirit, the educator arranged 156 types of food items for his students. At one point, he joked about calling a doctor because his hands had gone numb from the sheer weight of the rakhis, but the celebration continued.

Khan Sir has no biological sisters

It’s interesting to note that Khan Sir has no biological sisters. However, since the beginning of his teaching career, before he was such a renowned name, the beloved teacher has hosted Raksha Bandhan events every year. In 2023, he created a world record after getting over 7,000 rakhis tied on Raksha Bandhan. And now, the overwhelming love from more than 15,000 sisters resonated deeply with social media users.
