The YouTube teacher not only provides education to people but also makes them aware of current socio-political issues. As an influencer, he has also talked at length about the gender pay gap in India and gave an empowering speech on naarishakti. However, as recent photos and videos from Khan Sir's wedding reception have gone viral, the veiled look of his wife, AS Khan, has raised questions regarding his views. Debates are going on, with people pointing out his conflicting actions and speeches.
Khan Sir held a reception where his wife made her first public appearance
Khan Sir had recently announced that he had gotten married amidst the India and Pakistan conflict, and hence, the wedding was kept a private and small affair. But he had promised his fans that there would be a lavish wedding reception and everyone would be introduced to his wife then. As promised, the YouTuber's reception was held on June 2, 2025 in Patna. Photos and videos of the couple from the soiree went viral, and many well-wishers congratulated them. However, the look of the new bride has sparked a debate on Khan Sir's 'women empowerment' views.
At his wedding reception, Khan Sir donned a brown-toned suit and blazer. Meanwhile, his wife wore a beautiful red-hued lehenga with golden embroidery and paired it with a green dupatta. However, another red dupatta, which she had used as a ghunghat to cover half her face, became the talk of the town.
Khan Sir's wife's ghunghat has created a controversy
Khan Sir has often advised his students to respect women. He has also talked about gender equality and women's empowerment at public events. However, the ghunghat donned by his wife has many people pointing out the difference between his words and actions. One person commented, "He used to give so much progressive gyan now he is putting ghunghat on wife wow." Another tweet sarcastically said, "Barso purani ghunghat ki pratha ko jaari rakhte hue." Another X (formerly Twitter) user wrote in Hindi that Khan Sir had not let his own wife out of the veil, however, he has talked at length about gender equality, empowerment and whatnot.

Many people have also come out in support of Khan Sir
People have various conflicting opinions on this subject. Some have come out to support Khan Sir and pointed out that the veil might have been to maintain privacy. To note, Khan Sir is known for drawing a strict line between his private life and public image. No one knows his real name, some speculate that it is Faisal Khan. He has also not revealed his wife's full name, instead the YouTuber just said that her initials are AS.
One netizen supported him and said, "I am progressive doesn't mean I won't follow traditions at my own wedding". The same Reddit user further pointed out that donning a veil could also be his wife's decision. Another comment cited privacy as a reason for the ghunghat and said, "Privacy k liye bhi ho sakta hai. Her face is still somewhat visible. It's not like vo Adnan (influencer and Bigg Boss OTT contestant, Adnan Shaikh) k tarah pura mask pehna diya."
