The recognised professor isn't just popular on social media; he has a strong fanbase who always takes a chance to support him. The entire country witnessed a glimpse of Khan Sir's massive fanbase when he was arrested on December 6, 2024, by the Bihar Police.

However, days before the examination, aspirants protested near the BPSC (Bihar Public Services Commission) office, demanding that exams be conducted in 'One shift, one paper' and that the proposed normalisation process be dismissed. Soon, Patna-based educator Khan Sir joined the students at Gardani Bagh and supported their demands.

The students were pumped to see their favourite teacher joining them and supporting them in their protest. However, Bihar Police arrested Khan Sir, which worsened the situation as students became furious and demanded his release. Khan Sir was in detention on Friday night and released on December 7, 2024.

Khan Sir was born into a lower-middle-class family in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur in 1992. His father worked as a contractor, and his mother was a housewife. Khan Sir completed his schooling from Deoria's Parmar Mission School in Bhatpar Rani. After that, he took admission in the University of Allahabad and attained two degrees: a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science. He also has a Master of Arts degree in geography.

Before becoming a teacher, Khan Sir tried his luck in three major examinations. According to a report in AajTak, Khan Sir wanted to serve in the army. When he was in eighth standard, Khan decided to join the Indian army. As a result, he appeared in Sainik School's examination but couldn't crack it. In the following years, Khan Sir tried his luck at the polytechnic but couldn't get admission to a good college due to his low rank. He didn't stop here and appeared in the NDA examination, but once again, he faced rejection as he wasn't physically fit.

When Khan Sir couldn't crack any of the examinations mentioned above, he started preparing for BSc and on his friends' advice, he started taking tuition classes. Khan Sir started his journey as an educator by giving home tuition to a student. The student topped his school, which was the first major success of Khan Sir's career. Slowly and steadily, he started teaching more and more students. In the following years, he opened a tuition centre by joining hands with some people who eventually betrayed him. The travelling cost to reach his home was Rs. 90, and one day, Khan Sir only had Rs. 40 in his pocket and walked to his place.

It was one of the lowest points of Khan Sir's life and played an instrumental role in shaping the kind of person he is today. After sitting on the banks of the river Ganga for some time, he decided to start his startup. With the help of some friends, Khan Sir built a tuition centre, and courtesy of his excellence, students quickly enrolled in his centre. Unfortunately, in the following months, some people bombed his coaching centre. Although the centre was damaged, the incident skyrocketed Khan Sir's popularity across Bihar. As a result, Khan Sir didn't stop and continued teaching students.

During a conversation with renowned author, Chetan Bhagat, Khan Sir revealed that once a company offered him Rs. 107 crore to work with them as a teacher. However, he turned down the offer because he was committed to his mission to teach underprivileged students. The revelation speaks volumes about his contribution to society as a teacher. Further, in his revelation, Khan Sir admitted that when his academy was bombed, students reached out for his help before the police.
