Khushi Kapoor, younger daughter of veteran actress, Sridevi and film producer, is set to make her theatrical debut with her upcoming film, Loveyapa. The upcoming actress, known for her grace, beauty, and honest interviews, has been busy interacting with the media during her film's promotions. During one such media interaction, she was asked about her views on facing Bollywood rivalry with her sister, Janhvi Kapoor, who has already established herself in the industry. However, Khushi's unexpected response left everyone stunned.
Khushi Kapoor is making her way into Bollywood, while Janhvi Kapoor made her debut in 2018 and has worked in several movies like Dhadak, Ulajh, Mili, and more. But, as per News 18 when Khushi was asked about possibly having a competition with her sister, she quickly denied it. At the same time, she admitted that the idea of having a sibling rivalry with her sister feels foreign to her. The actress explained:
"That thought is so foreign to both of us. I think it's so strange to think that we could be competing at all."
Exploring different possibilities, Khushi revealed that even if she and Janhvi would star in the same film, she wouldn't feel any competition with her. She stated that her sister's success was a victory for her, and the same applies to the Bawaal actress. Exploring another possibility, she said:
"I think if she were to get it over me, it would be a win for me, and I think it would be vice versa. I don't think there would ever be any kind of other way to look at it.
Since Khushi Kapoor recently started her journey in the acting world, she admitted that Janhvi's experiences have been vital for her. She takes advice from her sister and dad, Boney Kapoor a lot. At the same time, the young actress shared that she can't decide on many things without their approval. From the smallest things like styling to choosing films, Khushi noted that she has always sought guidance for Janhavi. Highlighting how Janhvi has been an integral part of her life, Khushi mentioned:
"I'm so new, and I feel like there's so much experience that you have to learn from. She wants me to learn from her success, learn from her mistakes, and kind of move forward."
Khushi Kapoor worked in two short films before debuting with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. It also starred Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Vedang Raina, who debuted with her. The actress will next be seen in Loveyapa, directed by Advait Chandan. It's a rom-com co-starring Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan, that is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025, before Valentine's week.
