In an interview with Zakir Khan, Sidharth Malhotra revealed that he has a brother, and his mom would always ask them to get married and have kids. Sidharth mentioned that his brother got married and had a baby boy. The actor said that he has a nephew, but his mom always wished there was a baby girl in the family. Well, it seems that manifestation actually works, and this time, Sid and Kiara's baby girl's grandmom's wish and manifestation actually worked. Talking about how his mom always wished for a baby girl in the family, Sidharth said:

"Humlog do bhai the aur mom hamesha bolti thi koi toh shaadi karo, bachche karo. Mere bhai ka bacha hua toh vo bhi ladka, nephew hi hai ek. Meri maa ko abhi bhi umeed hai ki ek toh ladki ho parivaar mein”

As per a report by Filmfare, soon after the arrival of the little Lakshmi in their household, Sid and Kiara's family members started arriving in Delhi to welcome the little one into their family.

It was on Father's Day 2025, when Kiara Advani took to her IG handle and dropped a photo, seemingly from her baby shower ceremony. In the glimpse, we could see flower decor all around. The then mom-to-be looked lovely in a yellow-toned dress, and she was seen blowing out a candle, while Sid adorably looked at her. While it was not confirmed, Redditors guessed that the couple would welcome a baby girl.

The guess was made depending on the flowery decor of that place. Well, it seems like, although it was a wild guess, it proved to be right since the couple actually brought home a tiny Lakshmi. For the uninitiated, during the promotions for Jug Jug Jeeyo, Kiara expressed her wish to have two healthy children. She said that she would want a baby girl and a baby boy.
