Kiara Advani is one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood. She made her acting debut with the 2014 film, Fugly. However, she rose to immense fame with her role in the 2016 film, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, co-starring the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. Following this, she never looked back and has given several blockbuster films till now. Last, she was seen in the movie, Satyaprem Ki Katha, opposite Kartik Aaryan. However, Kiara's connection with the already acclaimed actors in the industry has often been debated. While some hail the actress for achieving so much success despite being an outsider, some mentioned she got special treatment for her connections.
Now, a Reddit user shared an old video of Kiara Advani, wherein she can be heard talking about her connection to Salman Khan and Juhi Chawla from much before joining the film business. The actress revealed that instead of the preconceived notion that Salman had vouched for her, she mentioned that after selecting her, the film's producer gave him the good news. However, Kiara also lauded Salman for mentoring her and said:
“Obviously, I would take his advice on everything that I was doing, but contrary to what everyone thinks that he told my producer (to cast me), she actually called him up and said, ‘Listen, we like her and we’ve selected her. We believe you’re mentoring her so I wanted to call you directly and tell you that we’re going to take this girl.' So, he called me and told me, ‘You’ve auditioned for this film and they like you. What does your gut tell you?’ I, from the minute I read the character sketch, knew I wanted to be a part of this film. I had to nail this one.”

Further, Kiara was asked how she knows Salman Khan and Juhi Chawla. To this, Kiara mentioned that the eminent celebrity figures are her family friends. Thus, she has seen them while growing up. Moreover, she called Juhi extremely beautiful and young and shared that the yesteryear actress has seen her since birth. Kiara added:
“They’re both family friends. My parents have grown up with them. Juhi aunty, should I even call her aunty? She’s young and so beautiful, I don’t want to call her aunty. She’s someone who’s seen me grow up right since I was born. She’s seen me doing all this nautanki since I was a kid.”
Not only that, Kiara explained how, during Holi parties hosted at her or Juhi's house, the typical aunties used to ask the kids to perform. Thus, being the eldest of all the family friends’ children, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actress mentioned that she used to choreograph beautiful dances along with the small kids. Kiara shared.
“I remember, Holi parties would be at her (Juhi Chawla's) house and my house and I would be the eldest amongst all the family friends’ children and she would be like, you know how typical aunties are na, ‘Do something for all the mothers, entertain karo.’ So, me being the oldest, would choreograph this dance and all the bachhas (kids) would be my backup.”

As soon as the video surfaced on Reddit, netizens started reaching to it. One netizen commented, "She’s so groomed now compared to then", while another one mentioned, "Accept fact she is not outsider." One more comment read, "She’s not too bad here. I think she’s speaking better than the nepos."
