Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra can safely be hailed as the real-life Shershaah couple. The duo got married on February 7, 2023, and since then, they have been setting new relationship goals for every other couple out there. There's no denying the fact that Sidharth and Kiara sent everyone into a collective meltdown with their wedding glimpses. For those who don't know, Sidharth and Kiara were in a relationship before getting married, but they never publically accepted or denied the same until they hopped onto the forever journey. Moreover, in a recent interaction, Kiara Advani revealed why she and her hubby chose to keep their courtship under wraps.
In an interview with Femina, Kiara Advani revealed why she and Sidharth kept their relationship under wraps. Talking more about the same, Kiara said both she and her husband wanted to protect their relationship. Talking more about the same, the diva mentioned that both she and Sidhrath are self-made actors, and they achieved their goals with hard work. Thus, none of them wanted everyone's attention to be shifted to their personal lives from their professional skills. Kiara can be quoted as saying:
"Before we were married, it was an issue because we wanted to protect our relationship. We are both self-made actors and have earned our spaces in the industry on our own. It’s something that we’ve put so much hard work into that we would not want it to be taken away by having the focus shift to our personal lives.”

Kiara Advani also mentioned that her and Sidharth's union was really beautiful, and they, too, wanted to share it with everybody. Kiara added that as they are public figures, a certain inquisitiveness comes with it, which is fine, but all they want is to be known for their works first. Kiara mentioned:
"But, yes, it was a beautiful union, and, of course, we wanted to share it with everybody. We are public figures, and a certain inquisitiveness comes with it – which is fine. It’s even sweet. But it cannot take away from our work. We are actors first and that’s what we want to be known for.”
There is no second thought about the fact that Sid-Kiara's dreamy wedding left everyone in awe of the duo. The duo's wedding video, which had a magical customised song and some expressions of Sidharth and Kiara, just splashed the nation with the red colour of love.
However, talking about the same, earlier in an interview with Film Companion, Kiara Advani shared that her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, is a very private person and that he didn't want her to post the wedding stuff that she posted. Kiara also mentioned that she and Sidharth had a lot of debate about posting the wedding video, too.

For those who don't know, Kiara and Sidharth got married in a low-key yet surreal wedding ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. For their big day, the then bride and groom opted for pastel-hued ensembles from the shelves of the ace designer, Manish Malhotra. Kiara looked no less than a dream as she donned a custom ombre lehenga in the shades of empress rose, which featured intricate embroidery of Swarovski crystals. With a huge emerald necklace, matching earrings, maang teeka, and light makeup, Kiara finalised her look. Sidharth, on the other hand, looked dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani.
