Her father-in-law passed away, and her exit left all disturbed. Now, Kiku did become upset seeing the situation of Sangeeta and recollected how he could not pick up the last call of his mom before she passed away.

Kiku Sharda remembers not answering his mom's last phone call and shares how his dad also passed away 45 days later

Kiku was seen telling Kubbra Sait about how being away from parents during their one final goodbye can be heartwrenching. Kiku shared how, in 2023, he was in the US when he lost his mother. He thought he would have time to call her the next day, as he was busy at the airport taking pictures with his sea of fans. He shared how when he thought of calling his mom, she was not there, and later, his dad, who could not bear the loss, also passed away. Kiku shared:

"I was in the US two years back and my mother passed away. You take time to come to terms, you are at the airport, you are an actor, and people keep coming to you for photos. I didn’t answer her last phone call, I was in America, I thought I would call her tomorrow since I was busy, and the next day she was not there. 45 days later, my father died; he couldn’t handle the loss. After a certain age, your partner is irreplaceable. I don’t know about everyone’s life, but please be close to your loved ones, spend time with them, call them, stay in touch.”

When Kiku Sharda shared a heart-wrenching note about losing his parents in two months

Kiku had faced the biggest blow of his life when he lost both his parents in a span of like two months. After Kiku lost his mom, a few days later, even his dad passed away. The comedian who carved a niche with The Kapil Sharma Show shared an eulogy for his parents, where he expressed grief in heavy words. Sharing a snap of his parents, he shared how he remembers his parents and said:

"Lost them both within the last 2 months. My maa and my papa. Maa- aapki bahut yaad aati hai maa, aapke bina life ke baare mein kabhi socha nahi tha. Ab mere TV shows ke baare mein mujhe feedback kaun dega, mujhe kaun bataiga ki main kaha galat ja raha hoon aur kahan sahi, meri har kaamyabi par khush kaun hoga aur mere har setback par dukhi kaun hoga. KBC ka episode dekh kar mujhe call kaun karega aur bataiga ke aaj Amitabh Bachchan ne kya mazedaar kiya. Mujhe aur bahut kuch sunna tha aap se , bahut kuch kehna tha aapse, bahut kuch poocha tha aapse , yeh sab ab kisse?"
