Kiku Sharda Shuts Down Rumours Of Quitting 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', 'Main 13 Saal Se Ye...'

For several years, Kapil Sharma and his talk shows have been a source of laughter for millions of viewers and one of the most loved faces of the show has been Kiku Sharda. A while ago, rumours started to surface on social media, which suggested that Kiku Sharda has left The Great Indian Kapil Show, after a feud with comedian, Krushna Abhishek. Now, Kiku has addressed those rumours. 

Kiku Sharda shuts down rumours of leaving The Great Indian Kapil Show

When the rumours started to surface on social media, Kiku Sharda was locked up in the reality show, Rise And Fall, but now since he recently got evicted, he sat down with Zoom for a candid conversation and chose to address the rumours. He mentioned that he loves Kapil Sharma and he will never leave the show. In his words:

"Yes I would like to clear. Very loud and clear ye bol ke ki I love love love Kapil ka show. I love Kapil Sharma and aisa kabhi nahin hone wala ki main ye show chhod ke jaoonga."

In the same interview, Kiku Sharda continued to add that he has been working with Kapil Sharma since the past 13 years and he enjoys himself on that stage. He explained that when he got out of Rise And Fall, he came to know that everyone was talking about him leaving and he couldn’t understand the reason behind it, as he will never leave the show. He was quoted as saying:

"Mujhe bahut pyaar hai is show se aur pata nahi ye baat kaise itni badi ho gayi aur main jab bahar aaya tab mujhe pata chala ki sab ye baatein kar rahe the ki maine chhod diya hai. Main kyun, nahin chhodunga yaar. I mean I genuinely enjoy myself so much on that show. Wo stage ke upar aake itni magical cheezen hui hai aur itna magic create hota hai aur itni kamaal ki aur itni khubsurat team hai. Main 13 saal se ye kaam kar raha hoon aur main to jab tak ye show chalega main to rahoonga."

When Archana Puran Singh dismissed rumours of Kiku Sharda leaving

Weeks ago, Archana Puran Singh, who is also an important part of the show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, had opened up about the rumours around Kiku Sharda’s exit and revealed that the comedian is very much part of the show. Later, a source close to the team had shared:

"Kiku is not quitting the show; you are going to see him in the upcoming episodes, too. He has wrapped up shooting for the show before starting his next project. Kiku is very much a part of The Great Indian Kapil Show."

Kiku Sharda’s journey on Rise And Fall

Kiku Sharda entered Rise And Fall as one of the show’s most familiar faces. Since the first episode, Kiku Sharda was known for warmth, humour and ability to bond. He was one of the strong contestants. In the show, he won a few difficult challenges, which earned him the support of the audience. However, his beautiful journey came to an end just before the finale week. In a shocking double elimination, both Kiku and Aditya Narayan had to say goodbye. Their exit left the audience and co-contestants in tears.
