Kim Kardashian On Getting 40-50 Pounds Invitation Card For Anant Ambani's Wedding, 'It Had Music...'

Mukesh Ambani's youngest son, Anant Ambani got married to the love of his life, Radhika Merchant last year in July. The wedding soiree was everything magical and some of the famous personalities from all over the world attended the soiree. Among others, Reality TV stars, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashians also touched down to Mumbai for Anant Ambani's wedding. While their Indian looks took the internet by storm, recently, the sister-duo shared their experiences of coming to India to be a part of the wedding.

Kim Kardashian talks about being a part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding

In a new episode of The Kardashians, Kim and Khloe shared their experiences of being a part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding. The sister-duo had 48 hours long journey from LA to Mumbai. Talking about the same, Kim said that she doesn't actually know the Ambanis, but they have friends in common, and one of them was Lorraine Schwartz, who was behind the designs of the Ambani jewels. Kim said that she and her sister are good friends with Lorraine, and it was the latter who said that the Ambanis wanted to invite the sister-duo to Anant's wedding. Sharing more about the same, Kim stated:

"Lorraine Schwartz is one of our good friends. She is a jeweller. She does jewellery for the Ambani family. She told me she was going to their wedding, and they would love to invite you, and we just went on a whim and said ‘sure’,."

Kim Kardashian further shared that they received the wedding invitation card of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, and that weighed 40-50 pounds. She shared that the invitation card had even music coming out of it. Being in awe of such a jaw-dropping invite, the Kardashian sisters decided to be a part of the wedding, as they didn't want to give it a miss. Kim can be quoted as saying:

"Even the invitation that we received was 40-50 pounds (18-22 kg) and it had music coming out of it. It was crazy, so I think when we saw the invitation, we were like, you don’t say no to something like this."

Kim Kardashian lost a huge diamond while attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding

In the same conversation, Kim Kardashian shared that she had lost a huge diamond from her huge diamond necklace that she was wearing at Anant and Radhika's wedding. Kim said that she was interacting with Isha Ambani, when one of the huge pear-shaped diamonds from her necklace fell off on the ground, leaving both the sisters worried later, when a big hole in the necklace was spotted.

They also later revealed that the diamond was never found. For the unversed, Kim and Khloe's looks for the wedding of Anant and Radhika took the internet by storm and they wore Indian attires with modern twists. Their ensembles were designed by none other than Manish Malhotra. The sister-duo also talked about expecting to find "Aladdin-style" spice market selling trinkets and souvenirs, but they actually found a street selling toys and junk jewels.
