Kim Sae-Ron's Father Holds A YouTuber's Content Responsible For Actress' Suicide At The Age Of 24

Kim Sae-Ron's demise at the age of 24 left everyone utterly hurt. It was on February 16, 2025, when Kim Sae-Ron was found dead at her home in Seoul. The actress' demise has raised concerns, and while the internet is filled with crazy 'dark theories', the Seoul police had already confirmed it to be suicide without any record of foul play. Kim's death has sent the South Korean entertainment industry into shock, and amid this, the late actress' father has reportedly held a YouTuber responsible for his daughter's suicide.

According to Yonhap News Agency, while talking to the media, police had stated that Kim Sae-Ron had made an extreme choice, and although it had been ruled out as a suicide, the investigation is still going on at Seoul Seongdong Police Station.

Why did Kim Sae-Ron's father blame a YouTuber for his daughter's suicide?

On the other hand, reports have claimed that Kim's father, during the actress' funeral, alleged that his daughter had been going through extreme emotional turmoil. He stated that Kim's emotional distress was caused by some videos posted by a YouTuber on social media, wherein he criticised the actress for several of her wedding-themed photos. The caption of this clip reportedly could be read as:

"Kim Sae-Ron’s self-deletion again… Gone into hiding after marriage rumours? Tried contacting her directly."

The YouTuber, who had been identified as Lee Jin-Ho, reportedly also shared some clips, stating that the actress used to work in a cafe due to financial crunches. Kim's father had shared that such claims had led Kim to face online attacks and public scrutiny at a time when she was already dealing with the aftereffects of her infamous DUI incident. The YouTuber reportedly has taken down all the content he shared against Kim, and the family of the late actress is probing this closely to find out the materials to take legal action against him.

Kim Sae-Ron began her career as a child model, and by the age of nine, she already become famous, courtesy of her acting skills in the films, A Brand New Life and The Man From Nowhere. After that, the actress never had to look back, and she continued to shine throughout with her impressive acting skills. She was seen in the film, A Girl at My Door, and several television drama series, such as Listen to My Heart, The Queen's Classroom, Hi! School: Love On, and Secret Healer.

While Kim Sae-Ron's demises came as a shock, there were several dark theories, which have been caused as the actress died on the same date as her ex alleged BF, Kim Soo-Hyun's birthday. While some internet users are claiming it to be a mere coincidence, others are not ready to put an end to this, as they are smelling dark theories attached to it.
