Kishwer Merchantt’s first pregnancy in her 40s has come as a happy news for every member of her family. It is especially her nanad, Shruti Rai, who cannot keep calm as she often pampers her bhabhi. It was on March 2, 2021, when Kishwer and her husband, Suyyash Rai had announced the news of their first pregnancy in a filmy manner.
As soon as Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had announced their pregnancy news, Suyyash's sister, Shruti had begun the celebrations. On her IG stories, Shruti had shared a picture of the cake she had cut to celebrate the ‘good news’. On the picture, Shruti had added, ‘Best news ever’ and ‘Congrats’ GIFs.

Kishwer Merchantt is eight months pregnant and along with her nanad, Shruti Rai and her trainer, Wilson, she tried the viral dance trend. In the video, Kishwer can be seen wearing a black shirt dress and red sunglasses as she followed the dance steps of her trainer. Kishwer's dance steps were then copied by her nanad, Shruti, however, it was the mommy-to-be’s goofed-up steps that made the video quite fun to watch. She captioned it as “Mera dance jaisa bhi ho, had too much fun shooting this reel with the pro's @raishrutirai, @wilson_theleanmachine and #sukishkababy.”
On June 24, 2021, Kishwer Merchantt had a grand baby shower and her nanad, Shruti had shared beautiful glimpses from the same. From her ‘bua-to-be’ mode to showering love on Kishwer or capturing the moment between Kishwer, Suyyashh and their furball, Shruti had made everyone a part of her bhabhi’s godh bharai rasam.

In June 2021, Kishwer Merchantt was 7 months pregnant. Her nanad, Shruti Rai had pampered her with delicious food as she had sent her chicken biryani. Kishwer had shared a Boomerang of the biryani with some dip on her IG stories and had written, “Thank u @raishrutirai” followed by a heart and kiss emoticon atop it.
Shruti has been ensuring that her bhabhi, Kishwer’s first pregnancy is a comfortable experience. When Kishwer was in her second trimester, Shruti had sent her a gift and the mommy-to-be had given a glimpse of the same on her IG handle. Kishwer had shared a Boomerang, flaunting her easy-breezy kaftan, gifted to her by her nanad. Kishwer had written on the Boomerang, “@raishrutirai thank you for this kaftan!!!” followed by a red heart emoticon.
Featuring her preggers bhabhi, Kishwer, Shruti had shared an ‘Ordered this and got this’ video on her IG handle in March 2021. While in the first half of the video, Kishwer was posing in a floral monokini at her vacation in the Maldives, in the second half of the video, Kishwer was resting on the couch in her house, hogging on a plate full of meal. She had captioned the video as “She didn’t know I was using this audio. @kishwersmerchantt.”
Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai are expecting their first child in August 2021.
