The whole nation is still in shock after the renowned singer, Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK had left for the heavenly abode on May 31, 2022. The singer's untimely demise had not only left a big hole in the music and entertainment industry but also in the millions of hearts of his fans, friends, and family. For the unversed, the singer had made a mark in the music industry with his melodious songs sung in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati languages.
On May 31, 2022, KK was performing at a live concert on Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha and a few hours after his performance, he had started to feel uneasy. Upon rushing to a hospital from his hotel, post 10 PM, he was found dead on arrival. On June 1, 2022, one of KK's die-hard, who was also present at the singer's last performance at Nazrul Mancha, had uploaded a video clip on his Twitter handle from the live concert. Sharing the video, the user had mentioned that the air conditioner of that venue was not working poperly, and due to which the singer was badly sweating. Now, we stumbled upon another video of the renowned singer, KK where he was seen rushing out of Nazul Manch after his live concert. Reportedly, KK was feeling suffocated inside the auditorium, which had resulted in uneasiness in him. As per media reports, he was also having chest pain during the concert. In the video shared by one of the social media users, we can see KK was going out of the hall with the help of one of his men, and his fans had followed him. According to a source close to the Kolkata police, KK's face and body bore bruises which had led to suspicion. The source had mentioned that the post-mortem would be conducted at SSKM hospital on June 1, 2022, to ascertain the cause of death. It is also reported that the Kolkata police would also do a thorough questioning session with the hotel staff and the event organisers. However, doctors had suspected cardiac arrest to be the cause of KK's death.

For the unversed, KK was married to his childhood love, Jyothi Krishna and together, they have two kids, Nakul Krishna and Tamara Kunnath. And now, after the shocking news of KK's demise had hit his family, as per reports, his wife and kids had already reached Kolkata.
Though the singer had left for the heavenly abode, his melodious tracks would remain in everyone's hearts!
