Suhana Khan, daughter of Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies. Even before that, the diva became the brand ambassador of Maybelline. There's no denying the fact that Suhana has been rising high in her career. Recently, Suhana stunned everyone as she graced the book launch event of Koel Purie, who is also a co-star of Suhana in her debut film. Moreover, in a recent interview, Koel opened up about her friendship with Suhana and also shared some interesting facts about her.
In an interview with The Lallantop, Koel Purie, who recently launched her book, Clearly Invisible in Paris, shared why she chose Suhana Khan as a guest at her book launch event. Koel mentioned that she is very blatant about which celebrity she is comfortable with. The young diva stated that she recently wrapped up with The Archies, and as Suhana has become a friend, she asked the latter. Koel Purie also revealed some unknown facts about Suhana Khan. She mentioned that the actress is a reader and she used to walk around on the sets like her father, Shah Rukh. Koel mentioned:
"She used to walk around with a book on set, like her father.”

Koel also shared that she loves Suhana's brain and her humour, and Suhana enjoys her company. Talking about how Suhana agreed upon gracing the book launch event, Koel stated that at first, the actress was a bit hesitant, but the former told her that as everyone knows her as a fashion icon, and no one has seen her brain, Suhana agreed to join Koel on her book launch event. Koel shared:
"She said, ‘Koel, you know I can do anything with you. I love that but let me think about this’. I was also very clear that ‘Suhana, this is a literary event. No one has seen that side of you. People know you as a fashion icon, beauty person, actor, no one knows your brain yet’. She said yes very soon after that.”
Further, in the interview, Koel Purie shared how she and Suhana prepared for the former's book launch event. She mentioned that the day they met, she had come with a diary of notes as she had put stickers and underlined passages. Koel mentioned that later, she got to know that Suhana is a literature student, and thus, her favourite thing is to analyse the text and break it down. Elaborating more on the same, Koel stated:
"The day we met, I shut off my computer because she had come with a diary of notes. She had put stickers, underlined passages, she had her favourite parts picked out. Later, I got to know that she is a literature student. Her favourite thing is to analyse text, and break it down. Because she had finished Archies and the next one hasn’t started yet, so she had some time on her hands. When she came, she came not only having loved my book but having done all her homework, what more can a writer ask for? And she’s a friend. It was like the universe was blessing me."

On August 16, 2023, Suhana Khan attended her first-ever book launch event. For the event, the actress looked pretty as she slipped into a black strappy dress. Subtle makeup and soft curls completed her look. However, it was Suhana's mom, Gauri Khan, who shared the video on her IG handle and got nostalgic as she recalled attending the first-ever event with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan also shared the video on his social media handles and lauded his wife for their kids' good upbringing.
