The eleventh episode of Koffee With Karan season 7 saw the handsome hunk, Varun Dhawan and the man who doesn't seem to have aged over the past 20 years, Anil Kapoor, on the Koffee couch. Spilling beans on their competitive Bollywood career and, of course, on their married lives, the two actors made the episode sizzling hot. Needless to say, Karan loves to get the A-listed celebrities talking about their love affairs on his show because that is what makes Koffee With Karan so iconic among its fans.
This time, Karan Johar made a hesitant Varun confess that he was in an ‘on and off’ relationship with his now wife, Natasha Dalal, before marriage. The director-host also made him talk about infidelity in relationships, and Varun’s reaction to it is unmissable. For the record, Varun had married Natasha Dalal, who he claims to be his childhood sweetheart. After much wooing, the fashion designer finally gave the nod to Varun’s proposal and got hitched to him on January 24, 2021.

In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Karan Johar revealed that though Varun Dhawan is now married to his school sweetheart, Natasha Dalal, he had previously developed an image of a ‘boy about town’. Varun tried his best to divert the topic of discussion and said, “But I’m married now.” But Karan being his curious self, went on to ask Varun more about his life after marriage. To which, the actor said:
“It’s been amazing. It’s the best thing that has happened to me in my life. She’s the balancing factor in my life, and she doesn’t even ask for much. She doesn’t demand much. She just wants my time. She’s amazing.”
Karan shares a warm bond with Varun, and he had even launched the actor in Bollywood with the hit film, Student Of The Year. Further, in the conversation, Karan Johar, who happens to have many inside scoops courtesy of his candid relationship with B-town actors, shared that Varun was in an ‘on and off’ relationship with Natasha. Though the actor claims that Natasha was his childhood love, Karan stated that Varun had got involved with many girls during his dating period with his now-wife, Natasha. When Karan Johar asked about infidelity, Varun said he does not endorse it. However, the director claimed:
“You were on and off in your relationship dynamic with Natasha before that, and you’ve, of course, been a boy about town, and that’s the way it should be. I don’t know how to word it in a way that doesn’t… You’ve had a fair amount of interactions with many girls, before you decided to cement your relationship and get married, and well done.”

Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Varun had revealed that he never wanted to marry as a child. Further, he mentioned that one quality of Natasha that intimidated him to get married to her so soon. Varun could be quoted as saying:
“So, as a kid I never thought I would get married actually. I never thought I would be that kind of person who gets married and does stuff like that. But then Natasha came into my life and she just got this fudgy, comfortable feeling that it felt like somebody added pillow on your head that kuch bhi ho jaye, you’re safe. Don’t worry, I got you. So, for me that’s marriage.”
