Komal Pandey is one of the most popular fashion influencers with a strong Instagram base of 1.9 million followers. She has created a stir in digital media about the awareness towards the changing realms of fashion. Her striking sartorial sense and eye-catchy videos become the talk of the town in no time. In her personal life, Komal is committed to Siddharth Batra, who is also a fellow fashion influencer. The duo has been going strong in their relationship for many years now and have swooned the fans with their mesmerising camaraderie.
Komal Pandey had been reigning in the social media domain in fashion for a long time since. But it was only in 2018 when she came across someone else who was just like her. Well, Komal was mesmerised by Siddharth as the duo fondly spoke about their shared interest in fashion at a party in Gurgaon organised by one of their common friends. They felt an instant connection and chatted non-stop in their own small world. In an interview with the Humans Of Bombay, Siddharth recalled his first meet with Komal and mentioned:
“We spoke a lot that night, we were both from the fashion world so we had a lot to talk about. She showed me her page; we followed each other.”

Despite spending a long time with each other during the party, the duo remained the best of friends and their relationship blossomed nothing further than being fond acquaintances. Since both of them were social butterflies, they connected over social media frequently and showered love on each other’s activities. But, while Siddharth had felt a special connection with Komal all this while, the latter did not reciprocate the same since she was in a relationship with someone else. In Siddharth’s words:
“This went on for a few years. Then one day, when I'd DM'd her, appreciating her work, our conversation just flowed naturally."
It was as a result of their frequent social media conversations that the duo realised that they lived barely 15 minutes away from each other. Therefore, to make good use of the moment, Siddharth and Komal made up a quick plan to meet each other. This small meeting became the first moment that they spent alone in the company of each other. As years later, Siddharth recalled, they had spent the day most comfortably watching Friends and chatting about life goals.

Ironically, what social media and regular meet ups between the duo could not achieve, it was this month-long separation which brought Komal and Siddharth closer to one another. Well, during the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2019 when the nation-wide lockdown was announced, Komal and Siddharth realised their feelings for each other. It acted as a positive catalyst in their relationship, which made them believe that it was much more than friendship between them. In an interview with the Humans Of Bombay, Siddharth recalled that golden period of time and mentioned:
“But believe it or not, the lockdown acted as a catalyst in our relationship. We'd be on video call 24*7, motivating each other, sharing ideas, acting as critics and of course bantering! it would mostly be me taking her case and her responding with her standard comeback, 'Tum chup karo!”
The lockdown period has been invariably difficult for most people and especially for those who had to stay away from their loved ones. Things were the same for Siddharth Batra as well, who was so madly in love with Komal Pandey that it made the pandemic period all the more painful for him. And so, the minute lockdown was lifted and duo met each other after such a long, Siddharth was overwhelmed with emotions and hugged Komal for the longest time. In his words:
“Being able to hold her felt emotional... I didn't leave her for the longest time!"
By now, the couple was very sure that they were made for one another and so Siddharth and Komal decided to share their happiness with the world. Therefore, on Komal’s birthday in August 2020, the duo made their relationship official on their social media handles by dropping a picture of the duo stealing a passionate kiss.
It has been more than three years that the duo has been going strong in their relationship. Apart from their shared love for fashion, they are also fond of travelling and even have a common friends circle with whom they hang out. Moreover, Komal has become exceptionally close with Siddharth’s family who loves her immensely. According to Siddharth:
“She's such a hit with my family. My mother adores her.”
With their popular social media presence, Komal and Siddharth have amazed their fans with their sizzling chemistry. Apart from starring in common videos, they share a relationship completely unique. In the interview with the Humans Of Bombay, Siddharth revealed a few anecdotes about his love life with Komal and expressed how much she means to him. In his words:
“She's the one I go to when I'm happy and when I'm sick; especially when I'm sick because she makes the best curd rice! And I live for her to say the 3 magical words... 'Tum chup karo!' makes my day, every time!"
