While reports claimed that Andy was married to Megan Kerrigan, later, information about Kirstin's partner also surfaced. Now, some more information has come into the light through The Post.

Andrew Cabot and Kristin Cabot's marital life reportedly hit rock bottom before the 'Kiss Cam' scandal

For the unversed, Kirstin Cabot, the former HR head of Astronomer, was initially married to Kenneth C. Thornby, as reported. The duo allegedly filed for a divorce in 2018, which was finalised in 2022, as reported. Kenneth C. Thornby and Cabot have a daughter. The Post later revealed that Kristin got married to Privateer Rum's COO and CEO, Andrew Cabot, soon after her divorce from Kenneth C. Thornby. Now, another report by The Post mentioned that sources shared that Andrew was in Japan for work, and returned to find his family in the middle of controversy.

According to a report by The Post, the source stated that Andrew Cabot was in Asia and returned home on Saturday. The source further claimed that their family members had been discussing issues that had been brewing between Kristin and Andrew, and they had been talking about separation for a while. While this report has yet to be confirmed, the source said it was only a few days ago that Andrew and Kristin were discussing love publicly. The source could be quoted as saying:

"The family is now saying they have been having marriage troubles for several months and were discussing separating — which I find interesting since as of a month ago they were saying how in love they are."

The Post attempted to contact Andrew Cabot regarding the same matter, but the calls went unanswered. The same report also revealed that Andrew Cabot belonged to one of the oldest and wealthiest families of Boston. He comes from the Cabots, who are reportedly the original 'Boston Brahmins' of New England, who ruled the country for centuries. The Post first reported that Kristin was married to Andrew and they purchased a 2.2 million US dollars mansion in Rye, New Hampshire.

Kristin Cabot stepped down from the position of HR head

It was on July 16, 2025, when Kristin Cabot and Andy Byron's alleged affair spread like wildfire. The duo was seen embracing each other while the 'Kiss Cam' spotted them. Following this, Andy Byron was placed on leave, and after the investigation was completed, the firm announced that the board of directors had accepted his resignation, and they are now seeking a new CEO for the company. While Kristin was not removed immediately, a company representative recently revealed that she has also resigned from the DataOps company. The representative further shared that Kristin is no longer with Astronomer and has resigned from her position as the HR head.
