Kriti Sanon is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood. The diva has been delivering some power-packed performances one after the other, and winning the hearts of her audiences. Adding another feather to her cap of achievements, Kriti recently bagged the prestigious National Film Award for her film, Mimi. Moreover, she has also professionally soared in recent times, as she not only started her own film production company, but also launched her own skincare brand.
According to the latest report by News18, Kriti Sanon is very excited and is looking forward fto her National Award felicitation ceremony. While the prestigious win of hers has been an exceptional move in her career, she is also geared up for the most special day in her life. Reportedly, Kriti has even decided upon her OOTD for such a momentous occasion. Ditching any expensive designer outfits, Kriti has apparently decided to drape one of her mother, Geeta Sanon’s most cherished saree for the special day. For the unversed, Kriti has been sharing the National Award for Best Actress along with Alia Bhatt, for her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Post her momentous achievement of bagging the coveted title of Best Actress at the National Film Awards 2023, Kriti Sanon had expressed her happiness and gratitude for the same. Taking to her IG handle, she had penned a heartfelt note celebrating her win, and even gave a shoutout to Alia Bhatt for sharing the award with her. An excerpt from her long note could be read as:
“Elated, overwhelmed, grateful. Still sinking it in...pinching myself... this has actually happened. The National Award for the Best Actress for Mimi. Thank you to the jury who considered my performance worthy of the most prestigious award. It means the world to me."
In one of her previous interactions with Curly Tales, Kriti Sanon had reminisced her initial days in the glamour world, and recalled memories from her first-ever photoshoot. She mentioned that she was nervous and extremely self-conscious, especially when she was told that a big photographer would be clicking her photoshoot. However, she credited the photographer to be quite accommodative and polite, after knowing that it was her first shoot ever.

In the same interaction, Kriti mentioned a particular anecdote from her modelling journey, and spilt beans on her first ramp walk. She spoke about how she had a bitter experience, when her choreographer brutally scolded her in front of 50 models, which made her emotional and she started to cry. In her words:
“My first ramp show, the choreographer, I have never worked with her again, she was very rude to me because I messed up the choreography. It was at some farmhouse and heels were getting stuck into the grass and it was my first time. Terrible. I started crying because she was scolding me in front of 50 models and very rudely. I was holding it for long but I cry the moment someone shouts at me.”
