Kriti Sanon has been dominating all the headlines as Om Raut's directorial movie, Adipurush, brought a lot of criticism associated with the dialogues, costumes, and portrayal of the mythological characters in the film. Not only the cine-lovers but also famous faces of the industry, such as Mukesh Khanna and Dipika Chikhlia, slammed the directorial. However, the film reportedly made Rs. 263 Crores at the domestic box office till now in opposition to the budget of Rs. 600 Crores. However, amid all these, Kriti again made it to the headlines, as she was mercilessly trolled for her dressing choice.
A video of Kriti Sanon went viral online, where the actress can be seen wearing a yellow spaghetti top. The actress paired it with denim shorts and a beige-coloured jacket. She left her short hair open and completed her look with a dewy makeup base, including highlighted cheek, nude lipstick, and eyebrows. The actress finalised her look with a pair of white sneakers and looked stunning as she carried her uber-cool look gracefully.

However, Kriti's uber-cool look didn't go well with the netizens, who started slamming the actress with unnecessary criticism over her dressing choice. As soon as the paparazzo handle shared the video, netizens rushed to the comment section to drop nasty comments. Reacting to the video, one user wrote, "Shame on Bollywood." Another comment can be read as "You played Sita's role for a famous purpose only, in reality, you hadn't given any kind of dedication to that role, shame on you." On June 7, 2023, Kriti Sanon and Om Raut were papped outside Tirumala Venkateswara Temple as they went out to seek blessings for their then-upcoming movie, Adipurush. The same pictures surfaced online, where Om Raut could be seen kissing Kriti on the cheeks and hugging her as they parted ways. However, such pictures baffled the netizens, and they started trolling the director and the actress for such behaviour outside the temple. Not only Netizens but even a famous face of the industry, Dipika Chikhlia, also expressed her displeasure about the same and said that maybe the actors from today's generation do not care about anything anymore.

Although much debate has been going on about the film, Kriti Sanon chose not to speak about the same. However, taking to her IG handle, the actress dropped a video featuring the massive applause and love Adipurush has received. It was Kriti's caption that caught everyone's attention. Moreover, the actress kept her mum on the debate about her film hurting Hindu religious sentiments and focused more on the love it received. Kriti's caption could be read as:
