Why Did Kritika Kamra And Karan Kundrra Break Up? Actress Revealed The Reason, 'He Never Proposed..'

Kritika Kamra has recently confirmed her relationship with popular cricket host, Gaurav Kapur. Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend, Karan Kundrra, is dating his Bigg Boss 15 co-contestant, Tejasswi Prakash. However, all those fans who eagerly waited for a glimpse of 'Arohi' and 'Arjun's romance in Kitani Mohabbat Hai have still not moved on from the break-up between the co-stars turned romantic partners. Here's the reason behind Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundrra's split.

Kritika and Karan's romance had blossomed on the sets of their iconic show together, Kitani Mohabbat Hai. They dated for nearly two years, from 2009 to 2011. This also coincides with the duration of their show. However, as 'Arohi' and 'Arjun's love story came to an end on the show with a happy ending, the same could not be said about the stars playing those roles. Kritika and Karan broke up soon after. Nearly a year after the breakup, the actress, in an interview with TOI, revealed the reason behind the separation. 

Kritika said that there is no particular reason for her breakup with Karan. However, both of them got very busy with new projects and 'couldn't take care of the relationship'. Kritika also mentioned that Karan never proposed, and they never discussed their life together or marriage. The actress also shared that they never thought that it was all over. Instead, Kritika and Karan still have a cordial bond and a sense of comfort. The actress was quoted as saying:

"There is no definite reason for my split with Karan. There was no fight. Both of us got very busy with our new shows and this took a toll on our relationship. It is really sad that we couldn’t take care of our relationship. There was an emotional attachment, we were together 24/7, but he never proposed to me and I am glad he didn’t. We never planned life, getting married in five years or anything of that sort. There were no talks of a breakup either."

Fans might not have moved on from the Kitani Mohabbat Hai couple, but both stars have gone their separate ways for years. After meeting as participants in Bigg Boss 15 in 2021, Karan and Tejasswi have been in a relationship ever since their love blossomed in the Salman Khan-hosted show. Tejasswi even recently revealed that discussions around marriage have been going on between them.

Meanwhile, Kritika shared snaos of her breakfast date with sports presentor, Gaurav Kapur. Rumours about their relationship had been floating around. With the photos posted on December 10, 2025, Kritika made her relationship with Gaurav official. The popular cricket host was previously married to model, Kirat Bhattal.
