Kritika Khurana, who is popularly known as 'That Boho Girl', has started her journey by sharing glimpses of her life on her Instagram handle. When fashion influencers didn't even exist, Kritika influenced many college-going girls with her chic, boho style. She made the pastels look cool and French braids — a thing for young girls. In fact, when she got married in 2022, many people were left in awe, but within a few months, she announced her separation. The social media was flooded with trollers commenting on Kritika's decision and people were debating about the reason behind her separation. However, it is the first time Kritika talked about her divorce and her life after it.
Recently, in an interview with Uncut, Kritika first time opened up about her divorce in 2022. She revealed that making the decision wasn't easy, but without going into detail, she stated that she took the step as there were no options left. She also added that there were a lot of people, who thought that a woman should suffer and why she had taken the decision. She was quoted as saying:
"This is the first time I am even talking about like I won't go into detail. But mujhe aisa lagta hai ki vo decision lena bht tough hota hai, but us time par jab apke pass koi option bachta nahi hai na, apko lagta hai ki either this or I am gonna lose myself or I am gonna do stupid things which I don't wanna do. Vo option bachta hai jab ap step lelete ho. While I got a lot of support, there was also a certain sector, jinko aisa lagta hai ki ladko ko suffer hi karna chahiye kuch nahi hota, yeh step isne le bhi kyo liya."

Kritika further recalled that when she tried to get back in her life, there were certain people who didn't wanted her to move forward. She stated that they wanted her to continuously mourn her condition and not move forward. She said:
"Uske baad bhi jab mai ne apni life rebuild kari thi, there are two options, I can sulk or say duniya bekaar hai, mere saath bura hogaya, ye hogya, or there is another option — I can rebuild, maybe future mein I have something good. Vo dusra option lene ke baad bhi mujhe aisa laga tha ki kuch log chahte the ki mai wahi rahun. Kyo jaa rahi hai, ki usko wahi ek shell mein baith jana chahiye. And ro tab bhi aisa lagta hai ki sympathy le rahi hai."
Kritika further revealed that she thought there was no option left, and she had to put a strong front and she cannot say that she has healed completely. Talking along the same line, Kritika said:
"Mujhe laga mereko apna strong front dikhana hai and I think I am not gonna say that I am healed completely there are still days when I crash but nobody knows about it because I know only my family my close friend, they care about my emotions and I do call up my friends, and therapy helped me."
For those who don't know, Kritika Khurana announced her separation from her husband, Aditya Chhabra in 2022. The influencer, who also shared her life on her YouTube channel, often posted glimpses of her newly-constructed home by her husband, Aditya, and would brag about her happily ever after. The news left the internet shocked. She didn't share the reason behind it, but called it a serious one, and also added that initially, she had sacrificed a lot in her marriage, but she can't do it anymore.
Well, Kritika is definitely an inspiration for woman, who are suffering in a marriage.
