Kuldeep Yadav Exchanges Rings With Friend, Vanshika, To-Be Bride Glows In Orange Lehenga

Indian cricketer, Kuldeep Yadav has been the go-to bowler in the spin department. He has been a dependable option to get wickets and save runs whenever the 'Men In Blue' have been in a difficult situation. The spin bowler recently completed his IPL campaign for 2025, and before leaving with the Indian side for an upcoming Test series in England, Kuldeep surprised fans by stepping into a new innings of his life. Known for his composure, technique and quiet presence off-the field, Kuldeep Yadav has got engaged to his childhood friend, Vanshika.

Kuldeep Yadav's fellow cricketer, Rinku Singh, recently took to his Instagram stories and shared a few videos from the spin bowler's engagement with his childhood friend, Vanshika. The private event was held in the close presence with the presence of his family, friends and fellow teammates in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. For those unaware, Vanshika is a resident of Shyam Nagar who works with LIC, and the duo have been a source of support for each other for a long time. However, neither Kuldeep nor Vanshika has shared any official announcements or pictures on social media. 

At the same time, it has put an end to rumours of a strained bond between the two cricketers after Kuldeep playfully slapped Rinku after their team's IPL match. Kuldeep Yadav has kept his personal life away from the spotlight and his engagement has come as a surprise for fans. According to some sources, Kuldeep might tie the knot after the England series.

For the special occasion, Kuldeep, who is usually spotted in casual outfits, wore a sleek ivory-hued sherwani with intricate floral embroidery and brown formal shoes. On the other hand, Vanshika was dressed in a vibrant orange lehenga with golden embroidery and motifs. She paired it with a sheer dupatta featuring a golden border and minimal jewellery. The soon-to-be bride kept her hair open and styled them in soft waves with minimal makeup.

Kuldeep Yadav has played for the country in Under-14 and Under-19 squads. He played the first international match for India in 2017 and has been a key spinner bowler for the 'Men In Blue' in all three formats. He was a part of the T20 World Cup winning squad in 2024 and the Champions Trophy winning squad in 2025. In 2025's IPL season, he took 14 wickets for 14 matches and is set to join India's Test squad in England in a couple of days.
