Ankit Mohan and Ruchi Savarn have entertained us over the years with their performances in television shows like Kaatelal and Sons (Ankit Mohan) and Kumkum Bhagya (Ruchi Savarn). Recently, they had swooned us by announcing the arrival of their first child, a baby boy. For the unversed, Ankit and Ruchi have been married for over six years.
Ankit and Ruchi had announced the news of welcoming their baby boy through a snippet of a Bombay Times article. They had become parents to a boy on December 7, 2021. Sharing the picture on their respective IG handles, they had written in the caption:

"We welcomed our baby boy on the 7th of December.. Thank you for all your love concern and support.. it's truly valued and precious!"

Ruchi and Ankit's Instagram handles are filled with pictures from the actress's maternity phase. On December 10, 2021, Ankit took to his IG handle to share the first glimpse of his baby boy. In the picture, he can be seen with his wife holding their little bundle of joy. Sharing the photo, he tagged Ruchi and wrote in the caption with a couple of love-struck and heart emoticons:
"Welcome to the World baby Boy… Let's go Home …."
A few moments back, Ankit Mohan took to his IG handle and shared an adorable picture with his baby boy and wrote a heartfelt note in the caption, dedicating it to all fathers in the world. His caption can be read as:
"Fathering is not something perfect men do, But something that perfects the man …!!! I love you my buoy."

In an interview with ETimes, Ankit had mentioned that the doctor had tried to make it a normal delivery, but later they had to go for a caesarean. The actor had even shared that he had wanted to be in the OT during the delivery even though the doctors had warned him that he might faint. Talking about the same, he had said:
“But I really wanted to be there for my wife and hold my baby first in my hands. I'm happy I could do it."

When Ankit was asked the kind of parent he would be to his son, the actor had revealed that every man should learn to take care of their kids. Talking about the same, he had said that he had learned to change diapers and to feed him. In his words:
“Every father should know all these things, why leave it just to the mother?”
On November 25, 2021, Ruchi had shared a picture from her maternity shoot and had captioned it with a heartfelt note that could be read as:
"There is nothing in this world that's easy.. it's your choice to whether you want to smile through those demanding times or just worry about things you've no control over.. let those butterflies of the unknown keep you alive to look forward to the unexplored adventures.. don't be shy to experiment, never look down upon your choices just because they don't fit the conventions.. the only way to soothe your soul is to let it loose.."
The television power couple, Ruchi and Ankit, had enjoyed their pregnancy phase. Every now and then, they used to post pictures and small glimpses from their daily life while relishing their pregnancy days. They had announced their pregnancy news on Ganesh Chaturthi with a beautiful caption that could be read as:
"Auspicious news on an auspicious occasion.. coming soon."
