Kunickaa Sadanand Blames Actresses For Rape, Ex BF, Kumar Sanu's Son Says, 'She Did This Herself...'

Actress Kunickaa Sadanand is leading the headlines as she is one of the strong contenders on Bigg Boss 19. The actress is known for her candid comments and has often been seen engaging in heated arguments with other participants on the show. As she is hitting the spotlight, Kunickaa’s old video recently resurfaced on social media.

Kunickaa Sadanand blames actresses for rape

In the video, Kunickaa spoke to Siddharth Kannan and was seen blaming actresses for their approach towards filmmakers. She went on to say that rapes don’t exist in Bollywood, it is the actress who gives hints to the filmmakers. In the video, Kunickaa said:

“Humari industry main na, main aisa maanti hoon, ki rape nahi hota hai. Kahi na kahi ladki ki taraf se bhi ek ishara hota hai. Ab jaise main aapke paas aayi kaam ke liye, ‘Hi, sir, I’d like to work with you koi accha role hoga toh.’ Yeh ho gaya ek?"

She then pointed out the other version of the actress, enacting the same line, giving hints of seduction. It was at that moment that the host said that he had even seen actresses fixing the director’s collar. Kunickaa then went on to quote her example and said:

“Aap aisi aisi line bolenge toh… I’ve never heard of anybody being raped who has been clear and straightforward. I’ve always been clear and straightforward. Boss, mujhe kisi bhi keemat pe heroine nahi banna hai.”

As soon as the video resurfaced, people started commenting on it and calling it absurd. Many pointed out Kunickaa for her comments on women in general. However, the one comment that caught everyone’s attention was the actress’s ex-lover and singer, Kumar Sanu’s son, Jaan Kumar Sanu as he slammed Kunickaa and wrote:

“She did this herself her whole life. With married men and whoever she could get hands on. Mooh kholna nahi hai zyada. Bohot dhotiya khul jaayenge phir.”

It was in the '90s, when Kunickaa Sadanand came into the limelight after rumours of her affair with singer Kumar Sanu surfaced in the media. Sanu was already married and going through a rough patch in his marriage when he met Kunickaa. He found solace in her company and found peace. Soon they fell in love and she started travelling with him all over the world for his concerts.

She was fulfilling her duties as the better half perfectly by managing his finances, paying his bills, and taking care of his responsibilities towards his family. In an interaction with Siddharth Kannan, the actress revealed that Sanu was in a very disturbed state when she first met him. However, they developed feelings for each other, and she was like a wife to him. In her words:

“I was like a wife to him. I considered him my husband."
