Kusha Kapila is going through a difficult phase of her life, as she parted ways with her ex-husband, Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. For quite some time, netizens were sure that Kusha was no longer with her husband, Zorawar. The rumours started after Kusha shifted her base to Mumbai with her pet dog, Maya. While Kusha is trying to best move ahead in her life, she reunited with her ex-husband, Zorawar as he underwent surgery.
On July 21, 2023, Zorawar took to his IG handle and shared a picture from his hospital room, and revealed that he underwent surgery. In another IG story, Zorawar posted a photo of Kusha and revealed how she helped him and came all the way to Delhi so that he could undergo surgery for haemorrhoids. Atop the photo, Zorawar revealed how Kusha came in a heartbeat to get him through the surgery. He wrote:
"Couldn't have done this without her. She was here in a heartbeat to get me through this surgery. For all those asking it was a case of Haemorrhoids (stage 4). I'm better now, resting it out."

When Kusha and Zorawar announced their divorce, the influencer was brutally trolled. However, Zorawar had come in her support and revealed that parting ways was their joint decision. Now, as Kusha stood for her ex-husband in his bad times, netizens react and give their opinion on Reddit. One user wrote, "I should be feeling “awwwww” but knowing everything they do is a publicity stunt, I’m not sure how I feel about this." Another commented, "Zor is eligible for alimony! Go for it Zor!."

Kusha, who is famous for her funny social media content, took to her Instagram handle and announced her divorce news. Sharing the statement, Kusha revealed that they wanted different things in their lives and they have decided to part ways. Kusha accepted that the love and life she shared with Zorawar meant a lot, and they tried their best to sort things out, but they couldn't anymore. Her note could be read as:
"Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continues to mean everything for us but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all, until we couldn’t anymore."
Kusha called her divorce heartbreaking for them and their families. She added that it would take a lot of time to heal from this pain, but their current focus is to move on with love and respect. The content creator further added that they will continue to co-parent their furbaby, Maya. She had written:
"A relationship ending is heartbreaking and it’s been a tough ordeal for us and our families. Thankfully, we have had some time to process this, but what we shared and built together panned for over a decade. We still need a lot more time and healing to get to the next phase of our lives. Our current focus is to get through this period with love, respect and support towards each other. We will continue to co-parent the love of our lives, Maya."
