Kusha Kapila left everyone shocked when she announced her separation news a few months ago. While a section of Kusha's fan following was cheering for her as she moved to Mumbai, another knew that her separation news was coming through. Soon, Kusha became the subject of online trolls, and people started spreading hate all over her social media handle. After months of separation, Kusha finally shared a shocking detail and revealed that she was bullied into sharing her divorce news.
Recently, during the India Today Conclave, Kusha revealed that she was bullied into revealing the news of her separation from Zorawar Ahluwalia untimely. However, the influencer-turned-actress shared that she was glad that she could share the news on her own terms. Kusha added that she doesn't want anyone else to reveal details about her life in the public.

Kusha announced her separation in June 2023. Sharing the statement, Kusha revealed that she and Zorawar wanted different things in their lives and they have decided to part ways. Kusha accepted that the love and life she shared with Zorawar meant a lot, and they tried their best to sort things out, but they couldn't anymore. Her note could be read as:
"Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continues to mean everything for us but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all, until we couldn’t anymore."
Kusha called her divorce heartbreaking for them and their families. She added that it would take a lot of time to heal from this pain, but their current focus is to move on with love and respect. The content creator further added that they will continue to co-parent their furbaby, Maya. She wrote:
"A relationship ending is heartbreaking and it’s been a tough ordeal for us and our families. Thankfully, we have had some time to process this, but what we shared and built together panned for over a decade. We still need a lot more time and healing to get to the next phase of our lives. Our current focus is to get through this period with love, respect and support towards each other. We will continue to co-parent the love of our lives, Maya."

Kusha and Zorawar tied the knot in 2017, after four years of knowing each other. The ex-couple would often make content together. However, they never really showed off their personal life on social media. Interestingly, Kusha and Zorwar had met each other at a wedding. He had offered her a drink at an open bar, and she brushed off him as she found it silly.
