Television actor, Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, who confirmed their relationship in 2024, seemed to have parted ways. For the unversed, speculations around their breakup have been making rounds for quite some time, and their social media activity further added fuel to the fire. For the unversed, Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi fell in love during the shooting of their show, Barsatein - Mausam Pyar Ka.

According to media reports, both Kushal and Shivangi have unfollowed each other from their Instagram handles. The couple has been together for over a year, and they never hide their relationship from the public eye. Lately, they have stopped interacting with each other on social media. Their fans noticed how Kushal did not even wish Shivangi for the premiere of her upcoming show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3. There are also claims that Shivangi might have blocked Kushal, as his likes and comments have disappeared from the actress' Instagram posts. 

Shivangi Joshi wished Kushal on birthday

In March 2025, Shivangi wished Kushal on his birthday with a lovey-dovey note. She prayed for the years to be filled with happiness, success, and everything he desired. She penned:

"May this year bring you happiness, success, and everything your heart desires. Hope it’s filled with exciting opportunities, growth, and beautiful moments that make you truly smile...Wishing you everything good in life...Lots of love."

When Kushal confirmed his relationship with Shivangi

Last year, in an interview with ETimes, Kushal Tandon talked about his wedding plans with Shivangi Joshi. The actor didn't hide the fact that he is in love, but he is not getting married anytime soon. Kushal added that his parents eagerly want him to get married, but he is taking it slow.

Kushal further added that the best part about all this is that his parents' search for a suitable girl has ended. Kushal was quoted as saying:

"I am not getting married right now but I am definitely in love. We are taking it very slow. My mother desperately wants to see me married and unka bas chale toh meri shaadi aaj hi karwa dein. And waise dekha jaye toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai, kabhi bhi. But the best part is that the search for a suitable girl for me by my parents has stopped now."

When Kushal Tandon's video while kissing Shivangi Joshi went viral

Earlier, a fan page of Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi shared a video of them. In the clip, the couple was talking to each other while attending a boxing match. As Shivangi and Kushal were busy chatting, Kushal adorably kissed Shivangi on her cheek. The cute moment instantly went viral on the internet, and fans were sure that something was brewing between the two.

When Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon dismissed their relationship rumour

Earlier, Shivangi and Kushal tried their best to keep their relationship underwraps. In fact, Shivangi posted a picture note wherein she shared that she loved 'rumours' as they helped her know things about herself. On the other hand, Kushal also posted a photo of himself, wherein he could be seen practising martial arts. Sharing the photo, the actor said that he was in Thailand and that he didn't know anything about his engagement. He further questioned the source of such speculations, which are not at all true.
