Did Kushal Tandon CONFIRM His Breakup With Shivangi Joshi? 'It's Been Five Months, So Yes..'

Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, who fell in love while shooting for their show, Barsatein - Mausam Pyar Ka, seemed to have parted ways. Their eagle-eyed fans noticed the couple unfollowing each other from their respective social media handles. Now, a screenshot of Kushal's Instagram story has been surfacing on the internet, wherein he confirmed his breakup, but its authenticity cannot be determined.

Kushal Tandon confirmed his breakup with Shivangi Joshi

Recently, a Redditor shared a screenshot of Kushal's Instagram story, wherein he has been confirming his separation from Shivangi Joshi after two years. However, the story has been deleted from Kushal's Instagram handle, and one could not clarify whether it is posted through the actor's social media or not. The post can be read as:

"To all the people I love. Just wanted to say me and Shivangi are not together. It's been five months. So yes."

As soon as the post was shared, netizens flooded the comments section and expressed their point of view. One user wrote, "When they haven’t confirmed a relationship, why he is announcing a breakup? Kushal is still the same." Another one called it a PR attempt and penned, "All of this seems like an attempt to get her fans to accept her pairing with Harshad. It’s possible that either Ekta or Shivangi asked him to post those breakup stories just to put the show in the spotlight. Ekta has done similar things before, like sending Parth and Erica on a trip together to make it seem like they were a real-life couple. I wouldn’t be surprised if articles linking Harshad and Shivangi start surfacing soon. It’s starting to look like a pattern - right before a new show or music video, the person she’s been linked with suddenly announces they are no longer together."

According to media reports, both Kushal and Shivangi have unfollowed each other from their Instagram handles. The couple has been together for over a year, and they never hide their relationship from the public eye. Lately, they have stopped interacting with each other on social media. Their fans noticed how Kushal did not even wish Shivangi for the premiere of her upcoming show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3. There are also claims that Shivangi might have blocked Kushal, as his likes and comments have disappeared from the actress' Instagram posts. 

When Kushal confirmed his relationship with Shivangi

Last year, in an interview with ETimes, Kushal Tandon talked about his wedding plans with Shivangi Joshi. The actor didn't hide the fact that he is in love, but he is not getting married anytime soon. Kushal added that his parents eagerly want him to get married, but he is taking it slow.

Kushal further added that the best part about all this is that his parents' search for a suitable girl has ended. Kushal was quoted as saying:

"I am not getting married right now but I am definitely in love. We are taking it very slow. My mother desperately wants to see me married and unka bas chale toh meri shaadi aaj hi karwa dein. And waise dekha jaye toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai, kabhi bhi. But the best part is that the search for a suitable girl for me by my parents has stopped now."
