Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar has been constantly making it to the headlines with its larger-than-life portrayal. The stellar performance of the star cast left everyone's jaw dropped. From the leads to the supporting roles, each of the characters did proper justice to their roles. While on one hand, some people had been introspecting the acting mettle of SLB's niece, Sharmin Segal, others are impressed with the other two new debutants. One is the... One of them is Laapataa Ladies fame, Pratibha Ranta, and the other is her sister, Abha Ranta. Recently, Abha has shared her take on casting couch.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Now, Pratibha Ranta's sister, Abha Ranta mentioned that she kept her approach in such a way that she never had to face any such situations in her life. The actress accepted that she had gotten several calls for meetings and added how these people used to say that there would be no audition for her. Talking more about the same, Abha shared that she felt that if she would bag any role out of only a meeting and not with an audition, then she would not be confident about the role, and it would not be that good. Abha can be quoted as saying:
"Whenever somebody has called and said ‘meeting karlo audition nahi hai,’ I just don’t believe in it because I feel that if somebody is calling me without audition, the part is not going to be good. Even if I get that part, I will not be confident as myself.”
