The drama surrounding popular YouTubers, Landon Nickerson and Lize Dzjabrailova, aka The Wizard Liz, has hit an all-time high. After Liz posted photos from her ultrasound showing her unborn baby, her former fiance, Landon, has now posted a baby scan photo with a caption that didn’t necessarily sit well with netizens. For the unversed, Liz and Landon, who were engaged before the latter allegedly cheated, are expecting a baby together.

Landon drops ultrasound post with an emotional apology

After Liz posted a photo from the clinic with an ultrasound of her 4-month-old baby, within 24 hours, Landon also made a similar post, but with a very different caption. On June 3, 2025, taking to his Instagram, Landon posted an ultrasound photo of the baby he is expecting with Liz, captioned with an emotional note expressing his sorrow at failing them both. His caption can be read as:

“My deepest desire is to give you the life you deserved, and I’m so sorry. Liz, thank you for carrying our miracle. I’m so sorry I failed you both.”

The post came just days after Liz revealed on social media that she had called off their engagement due to infidelity. While the message had a heartfelt tone to it, netizens are not buying it, and many users saw it as a manipulative move to gain sympathy.

Netizens lash out at Landon’s IG post

Landon’s post went viral in no time, and not necessarily for all the right reasons. His comment section got flooded with fiery and sarcastic remarks slamming the YouTuber for cheating on his pregnant fiancee, Liz. Users were quick to call out Landon’s timing and intentions behind the ultrasound post. The comment with more than 23k likes featured no words except for a credit card, but it was written as ‘Victim Card’. 

Many netizens accused Landon of attempting to salvage his public image rather than taking genuine accountability for his actions. Comments like “You should’ve thought about this before making the snap, buddy” and “Rejected by both sides—damn” flooded the post. One user wrote, “If you care that much about your OWN baby, why did you cheat???” Another called Landon out for apologising only because he got caught. The comment read, “He’s only sorry because he got caught.” A third user wrote, “Bro only doing this to gain empathy”, while another slammed the YouTuber, saying, “The audacity to post this after what you did.”

The Wizard Liz shares a pregnancy update, Landon blames ‘narcissistic ex’

Before Landon’s post, The Wizard Liz had already shared a serene ultrasound video on her Instagram. The clip showed her undergoing an ultrasonographic test, featuring visuals of her baby. Despite the heartbreak, Liz displayed resilience, gently cradling her baby bump while watching the monitor. Her caption simply read:

“Mommy’s biggest blessing.”

Liz has garnered massive support for handling the situation with poise, focusing on her pregnancy rather than getting entangled in online drama. Fans praised her for staying strong and focusing on the new life she’s bringing into the world.

Meanwhile, Landon Nickerson has repeatedly posted Instagram stories addressing the cheating scandal, calling it a ‘moment of weakness’ and an ‘incident blown out of proportion’. The YouTuber even shared screenshots of his chats with the girl involved, admitting past issues existed even before Liz's pregnancy and claimed he's now done explaining his side, tagging his other ex as a ‘narcissist’.
