As per a report by NBC 4 Los Angeles, Lindsey Buckingham entered a building in Santa Monica, where he had an appointment. At the building, a woman approached the former vocalist and guitarist when she threw an unidentified substance at him and left the place instantly. While Lindsey remained unharmed, the investigation has begun. Authorities have revealed that they have identified the suspect, and while no arrest has been made as of now, the investigation has been ongoing. On the other hand, the authorities also hinted that an arrest is expected really soon.

Who attacked Lindey Buckingham? Was the woman connected to his past?

While this recent incident grabbed the attention, it couldn't be confirmed whether the lady who recently attacked Lindsey is in any way connected to his past or not, but it instantly took people back to 2024, when the former vocalist and guitarist was granted a restraining order against a woman named Michelle. Reportedly, Lindsey Buckingham presented evidence in court, including a photograph and an audio of the woman outside his home back in December 2024, following which the court granted her a temporary restraining order against the woman, granting him five years of protection.

In the wake of the recent attack on Lindsey Buckingham, the past of the former vocalist and guitarist came into the light again. In his documents, Lindsey claimed that the woman named Michelle somehow got her hands on his wife's business number and has been contacting her since 2021. In the documents, Lindsey mentioned that the woman dropped lengthy messages, including assertions that she was his child. The woman also reportedly gave some threats, which were directed at him and his family members. Lindsey, on the other hand, denied any kind of personal connection with the woman.
