Lock Upp 2 fame, Shivam Sharma got married to the love of his life, Samaira Thakur on November 7, 2023. For the unversed, Shivam and Samaira started interacting with each other for the first time during Holi 2023. In the same year, the duo had their roka ceremony amidst their close friends and relatives. Now, Shivam has been updating his fans with stunning glimpses from his pre-wedding ceremonies. And amidst his post-wedding shenanigans, Shivam got candid about his beautiful wedding, honeymoon destination and future plans, which are unmissable.
Now, in an interview with the ETimes, Shivam Sharma described his wedding with Samaira Thakur as an amazing and beautiful feeling. He mentioned how modern-day grooms cry at their wedding but he had extreme fun. He said:
“It was such an amazing feeling. I never had so much fun in my entire life. I enjoyed my wedding thoroughly. I was overwhelmed, but I couldn’t keep calm. Other grooms cry at their wedding, but I just had fun. So many of my friends such as Karanvir Bohra came from Mumbai only for my wedding for one day. I was genuinely floored by his presence. Everything feels like a new beginning. The days and the nights are not the same. My family has increased in numbers and now I intend to increase it more (laughs)."

The former Splitsvilla contestant, Shivam also revealed his and Samaira's honeymoon destination at Baku, Azerbaijan, during Christmas 2023. Further, Shivam was asked about his wish to start family planning anytime soon. To this, he revealed his excitement about starting a new family and added that he plans to have children in 2024. He mentioned:
"We are planning to have kids by next year. Kal ka kisi ko kuch nahi pata. With the pandemic, the wars, you never know what is going to come next. So, I am just going with the flow.”
On November 6, 2023, Shivam took to his IG handle and shared an array of pictures from his and Samaira Thakur's mehendi ceremony. In the pictures, the then-would-be-married couple was seen radiating pure happiness as they posed for the lens. For the ceremony, Shivam looked dapper in a white kurta-pyjama. On the other hand, Samaira looked stunning in a pink-hued embellished outfit paired with matching earrings and glam makeup. Samaira was also seen flaunting her mehendi-clad hands, and her bridal glow was visible.
