One of the most controversial reality shows on the OTT platform, Lock Upp has been hitting the headlines ever since its first episode because of the shocking revelations made by the contestants, the controversies created by them, and the PDAs that could be seen inside the house. Every episode showed something or the other about the contestants. From digital content creators to YouTubers to comedians and actors, a lot of celebrities had graced the show, and it had become quite popular among the people.
Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut had hosted the first season of Lock Upp. However, the main highlight of the show was comedian, Munawar Faruqui, who had even won the show, and also got the limelight for being Anjali Arora's love angle. Their fans had even named them 'Munjali'. But, as soon as the show ended, the duo had given a major shock to their fanbase when they had announced their respective partners from their real world.

A video is doing rounds on the internet, wherein Anjali Arora can be seen running towards her boyfriend, Akash Sansanwal, and embracing him in a warm hug at the airport. Later, in the shared video by the paparazzo team, she can be seen walking hand-in-hand with her beau. While Anjali looked stunning in a white blouson top and jeans, on the other hand, her boyfriend, Akash looked dapper in a pastel blue-coloured shirt and jeans.
As soon as the video hit social media platforms, the netizens dropped their opinions about Anjali's boyfriend. While some showered them with lots of love and blessings, a few others praised his looks and compared him with Munawar. While one commented, "Far better then munawar cute couples." Another one wrote, “He is cuter than Munawar.” One of the fans even gave rating to both of them and wrote, “If Munawar is an 8, he is definitely a 10."

In a recent interview with ETimes, Anjali Arora had opened up about her boyfriend, Akash and had shared how he had reacted to her and Munawar's relationship inside Lock Upp. Talking about the same, the actress had mentioned that even if Akash had felt jealous, he had understood the situation and had dealt with it calmly. She had said:
"It’s a normal thing, human nature to feel jealous. When you love someone or like someone and if that person starts bonding with someone else, you feel possessive. Bhale he Woh aap ka dost he kyu na Ho, aap thoda sa feel karne Lagte Ho. Like inside also in Lock Upp Munawar and I were such good friends that we would have problems if one of us would start giving importance or time to someone else. Agar Munawar Kisi se baat karta tha Mujhe bura lagta tha, agar main Kisi se baat karti thi he would feel bad."
