Loni Anderson passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 79, two days before her 80th birthday. According to the Associated Press report, the actress's publicist, Cheryl J. Kagan, shared the news of her tragic demise. She revealed that Loni has left for the heavenly abode after a prolonged illness. For the unversed, Loni was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles, where she took her final breath. Her publicist was quoted as saying:

Loni Anderson lived her life to the fullest. However, finding her soulmate came following three broken marriages. Yes! You heard that right, Loni was married four times. She first married Bruce Hasselberg. He was the son of the then-Minnesota Mayor, Donald Hasselberg, according to the Minnesota Historical Election archive. The duo tied the knot in 1964 and were married until 1966, during which they had her only biological child.

Following Bruce Hasselberg, Loni Anderson tied the knot with actor, Ross Bickell. He is best known for her work in films like The Drop, Airport '77, Wedding Daze, Major Payne, The Fighter and The November Plan. The two got married in 1974. However, their marriage was short-lived as they parted ways just 7 years later in 1981. This was followed by her third and most publicised marriage to actor, Burt Reynolds.

Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson first met on the set of The Merv Griffin Show in 1981. The two reportedly began dating in 1982, and their film, Stroker Ace, came out in 1983. This was probably one of Loni's most public relationships. They got married five years after the movie's release in 1988, after Burt got down on one knee with a 7-carat ring. However, what started as a promise of love soon turned into an ugly affair, which took over two decades to settle. Burt fired the first shots by publicly announcing that Loni shouldn't be surprised about the divorce, as he hadn't touched her in years, during an interview with Good Morning America. 

He also accused her of cheating on him and claimed that he had caught her in the act. He added that he, too, had affairs, but only after the actress started doing so. He additionally accused her of being an underemployed actor and having 'lousy self-esteem. Loni, on the other hand, alleged that he physically abused her and made irregular child support payments. Their divorce ended in Burt having to pay over 2 million US dollars in divorce-related expenses alone.

Loni Anderson found her forever with The Brothers Four member, Bob Flick, the duo tied the knot in 2008 and have been married since. The actress and the singer remained private about their lives. He later switched paths and entered politics, and Loni always supported him till her very last breath.
