The final episode of Love Island USA season 7 aired on July 13, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock. The much-hyped season ended on a strong note, with the fan-favourite couple, Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, taking home the winning prize amount of USD 100,000. Their deep attraction towards each other and determination not to give in to the numerous ‘temptations’ had left viewers swooning over their Casa Amor love story.
However, there seems to be trouble in paradise already. Merely a month after winning the show, TMZ recently confirmed that Amaya and Bryan unfollowed each other on Instagram. And the timing of the drama could not be messier – their social media split came just hours before the highly anticipated reunion, co-hosted by Andy Cohen and Ariana Madix.
Given that the reunion had been shot days before it was aired, neither Amaya nor Bryan has confirmed a breakup after their social media stint. However, Amaya’s recent TikTok activity from the past few days is raising eyebrows. In the days leading up to their supposed ‘split’, Amaya was found reposting heartbreak-themed edits about ‘leaving him’ and ‘picking myself up’.
Now that Amaya seems to have unfollowed Bryan, fans are reading deeper between the lines. The reality star shared some particularly eye-grabbing edits recently, including one that read, “How it feels when you know you have to leave him alone,” and another that said:
“When I finally pick myself back up and never let my walls down like that again.”
While the speculation was rife, fans are now connecting the dots more quickly, especially the silent unfollows. However, it looks like rumours of infidelity have been circulating since the time Amanda and Bryan returned from the show. In the much-anticipated reunion’s trailer, host Andy Cohen can be heard saying:
“Chris, you were out with Bryan on the night of the alleged cheating.”

To this, Bryan admitted he had a ‘lapse in judgement’, which many believe was his subtle admission of the allegations.
There have been whispers about a potential cheating scandal between the Love Island USA season 7’s winning couple. The rumours first surfaced in July 2025 when a TikToker claimed she spotted Bryan with another woman at a Los Angeles club. She also alleged that the two ended up back at the same Airbnb where Amaya was also staying. That video has since been deleted, but the buzz refuses to die down.
The since-deleted post went viral in no time, and Bryan had seemingly brushed it off with a playful TikTok featuring Amaya, where she can be seen jumping into his arms. The caption of his clip read:
“When everyone thinks you’re over, meanwhile, this is us.”
However, with the reunion trailer, it seems there has been a spicier development than the couple is showing. In one of the clips from Reunion, Cohen presses fellow islander Chris Seely that he was also present with Bryan on the night of the alleged cheating, to which Bryan admits to the ‘lapse in judgement’. Whether or not that hints towards infidelity remains to be seen.
Since they returned as winners from Love Island USA season 7, Amaya and Bryan have been making headlines for their bond and cutesy glimpses together. Just days ago, the couple had been attending press rounds together, even making a joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live on August 14, 2025. They appeared closely bonded, with Bryan gushing in his interviews about how much his mom loved Amaya.
However, seeing that the reality stars have unfollowed each other, and that too, just ahead of the reunion’s airing, fans have been left in shock. If confirmed, the split would mark yet another failed romance from this season’s cast. For the unversed, a few days ago, Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia also reportedly unfollowed each other.
Whether it’s just a digital stunt or their romance has truly hit a rough patch, fans are hoping the reunion will finally deliver answers. With cheating allegations looming and social media unfollows fuelling speculation, the Season 7 reunion is shaping up to be one of the most dramatic in Love Island USA history. Will Bryan explain his cryptic 'lapse in judgement'? Will Amaya confirm a breakup? Or is this simply another case of Peacock’s signature sensational editing?
All questions will be answered with the highly anticipated reunion, which has now officially dropped on Peacock.
