Love is in the air for The Voice coaches as they head towards the red chairs for Season 28. The much-awaited singing reality show is officially back with its latest season, which premiered on September 22, 2025. This season will see superstar coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dogg in the chairs to guide the aspiring singers towards stardom.
While fans tune in for a fresh season of powerhouse vocals and nail-biting chair turns, the personal lives of these stars are just as compelling. From Reba’s recent romantic developments to Snoop’s decades of marriage with Shante Broadus, here’s a closer look at the real-life romances of the star-studded chairs.
Reba McEntire and actor Rex Linn are officially starting a new chapter of their lives. The 70-year-old country singer first met the 68-year-old CSI: Miami star in 1991, while filming The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw. But it wasn’t until they reconnected in 2020 that sparks flew and they fell head-over-heels in love. Beginning with a tater tot date, the couple has now grown inseparable.
Reba and Rex have since walked the red carpet together at various events, including the Oscars and the ACM Awards. Not only that, but they have even shared the screen in The Hammer, Big Sky, and NBC’s Happy’s Place. After going strong for five years, the couple is now headed towards the altar. Recently, McEntire’s representative confirmed that she and Linn got engaged on September 15, 2025.

Niall Horan’s romantic life has long been a matter of curiosity, given the lack of information about his non-celebrity girlfriend. The former One Direction singer has been dating Amelia Woolley since 2020, and they are still going strong. They are one of the most private celebrity couples who rarely disclose anything about their personal lives behind the scenes. Fans have caught glimpses of their relationship at Wimbledon and the French Grand Prix.
While Horan never directly mentioned Woolley’s name in any of his interviews, he has mentioned how she has quietly shaped Horan’s music. In 2023, the This Town singer admitted in Entertainment Tonight Canada that he was deeply in love, adding that his album The Show was inspired by his girlfriend.
Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus are one of the few celebrity couples in the industry who have been going strong for over three decades. From being each other’s prom dates in high school and marrying in 1997, to becoming grandparents to eight, they have become the definition of ‘real love, ’ as Snoop puts it. In their decades-long partnership, the pair have built a family and an empire side by side.
In 2021, Shante became Snoop’s official manager, though the rapper credits his tremendous success today to her, his ‘backbone’, who has stayed by his side since long before anyone knew him. The 53-year-old is a film producer and executive who runs Boss Lady Entertainment. The couple shares three children — Corde, Cordell, and Cori.
Michael Bublé and Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato have been married since 2011, and their love story feels straight out of one of his songs. The couple met at a party in Argentina in 2008 and got engaged in 2010. They got married the same year in two ceremonies and have remained a strong unit since.
Over the years, Luisana has been Michael’s muse for most of his songs, including his hit 2009 single Haven’t Met You Yet. One particular moment that has truly stuck with fans was the couple’s recreation of famous movie romances in his 2022 music video for I’ll Never Not Love You. In their 15 years of marriage, they have built a family with four children — Noah, Elias, Vida, and Cielo.
The latest season of The Voice officially dropped on September 22, 2025, on NBC, and the lineup of star coaches is almost entirely new from last season. Last year, the makers announced that most of the Season 27 coaches, including first-time coach Kelsea Ballerini and veterans Adam Levine and John Legend, would be leaving The Voice after the season ended.
Speaking about the coaches of Season 28, all are experienced to sit in the red chair. Reba McEntire has returned to The Voice after starring back-to-back in seasons 24, 25, and 26 and has had one win so far, with Asher HaVon in Season 25. Niall Horan was the coach on seasons 23 and 24, and he has had two wins, including Gina Miles in Season 23 and Huntley in Season 24.
Snoop Dogg, who is returning after his coaching debut in Season 26, has yet to have a winner on the list. Michael Bublé is the only returning face from Season 27, who will be coaching for the third year this season. So far, he has had two wins: Sofronio Vasquez in Season 26 and Adam David in Season 27.
New episodes of The Voice Season 28 are scheduled for release on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, with next-day streaming on Peacock.
