Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with the man of her dreams, Zaheer Iqbal became a matter of multiple controversies, after reports of her brothers, Luv and Kussh, as well as her parents having discord with the massive decision of her life was speculated. However, Shatrughan Sinha rubbished it all and attended his daughter’s wedding with his wife, and joyfully participated in it. Interestingly, it was Sonakshi’s elder brother, Luv Sinha, whose absence raised quite a few eyebrows. While Luv has already clarified his reasons for skipping Sonakshi’s wedding, he recently made another startling revelation.
Taking to X, Luv Sinha opened up about why he chose not to attend his sister, Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. He claimed that he didn’t wish to associate with certain people, no matter what. Moreover, he credited a media personnel for clarifying the truth with proper research, and didn’t propagate false stories fuelled by PR. In his words:
“The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend and would not associate with certain people, no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team.”

In another earlier post on X, Luv Sinha reacted against reports of him and his family being anxious about Zaheer Iqbal’s antecedents. The particular report pointed out that the Sinha family was unsure about Zaheer’s father, Iqbal Ratansi’s close proximity and equation with a corrupted politician. Unearthing the truth, Luv said:
“Apparently, one reason for anxiety was a rumour about the groom’s antecedents. With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the 'washing machine'. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai, which was rumoured to have ended rather abruptly.”
Back when the first reports about Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal, Luv Sinha, in an interaction with The Times Of India, shocked everyone when he claimed he had no involvement with the matter. He refused to comment on the headlines, leading everyone to speculate that the actress’ family might be upset with her decision of marriage.

Previously, in another interaction with News18 Showsha, Sonakshi Sinha’s brother, Kussh Sinha clarified whether he was absent from his sister’s big day. Calling it rather inaccurate information, Kussh revealed he is a private person by nature, and his absence from pictures and media doesn’t mean he was absent. In his words:
“It’s just that I am a private individual and I am not seen that much but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t there. I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister and will always wish her well.”
