Madhuri Dixit made her acting debut in Hindi cinema with the film, Abodh back in 1984. The film was directed by Hiren Nag and she was cast opposite famous Bengali actor, Tapas Paul. Fast forward to 2024, and exactly after 40 years, she is considered as one of the greatest actresses and dancers in the history of Indian cinema. Back in the 1990s and early 2000s, Madhuri was one of the highest-paid actresses in India.

With six Filmfare awards and the Padma Shri award to her name, she is one of the most celebrated actresses of all time. In a career spanning four decades, Madhuri had appeared in more than 72 films. For the uninitiated, Madhuri Dixit is leading a steady married life with her husband, Dr Sriram Madhav Nene, who is a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon. The couple got married on October 17, 1999, at the residence of Madhuri's elder brother in Southern California.
The couple embraced parenthood for the first time back in 2003 when Madhuri gave birth to a baby boy, Arin. Madhuri and Sriram welcomed another child in 2005 and named him Ryan. Throughout the day, the actress eats small and frequent meals. Processed food and fatty foods are a 'strict no' for Madhuri. Instead, she opts for green vegetables. The actress consumes coconut water every day, as it helps strengthen immunity, promotes weight loss, and improves metabolism.
Another strict rule that Madhuri Dixit follows is that she finishes her dinner by 7:30 PM. For the unversed, Madhuri's diet includes low-calorie and high-protein foods like tofu, chicken, broccoli, and others. Herbal tea is another 'must-have' in Madhuri's diet, supporting bone health, lowering cholesterol, and enhancing memory. The actress has strictly prohibited the intake of aerated drinks, caffeine, and fad diets.

Once, in an interview with Filmfare, Madhuri Dixit opened up about her skincare routine, which she has been following for decades. The actress revealed that she washes her face with a cleanser in the morning and follows it with a serum. She further added that toner is something that she picks on how her skin looks on that particular day. Madhuri also revealed that she follows the same skincare routine twice a day, morning and night.
Madhuri Dixit also shared the secret behind her lovely hair and revealed that she followed the old wives' tale, in which oiling hair was recommended. The actress revealed that she mixes olive oil and castor oil on her hair and scalp, which boosts the overall quality of her hair.
However, she also emphasized having a good fitness routine because it also plays a significant role in improving the condition and quality of our skin. Every now and then, we have seen Madhuri dropping a series of stunning pictures from her photoshoots on her Instagram handles. We hope she continues to age gracefully for years to come.
