Madhuri Dixit is one of the biggest names in the Hindi film industry. The actress, who started her career in the world of glamour in 1984 with the film, Abodh, has an extensive filmography spanning over four decades. She has acted in popular movies like Hum Aapke Hain Koun…!, Saajan, Tezaab, Devdas, Kalank, and many more. Apart from movies, Madhuri has also judged a few reality shows. At present, the actress, who is immensely popular for her dance, is a judge in the dance reality TV show, Dance Dewaane.

Madhuri’s husband, Shriram Madhav Nene was invited to one of the show’s upcoming episodes. In the promo shared by Colors TV on their YouTube channel, the show’s host, Bharti was seen welcoming the actress’ husband, who was pleasantly surprised after seeing Shriram Nene on the stage. While Madhuri looked beautiful as ever in a heavily embellished pastel-hued dress, her husband looked equally handsome in brown formals comprising a shirt and two-piece pantsuit.

The makers of Dance Dewaane organised such a delightful surprise for Madhuri as she will be turning 57 on May 15, 2024. In the birthday special episode, Shriram Nene also bought their beloved furry friend, Carmelo. After her husband entered the stage, Madhuri first petted her dog and then went on to give a warm hug to her husband. Later, in the clip, the couple also danced to the song, Tumse Milke, which is from Madhuri’s film, Parinda. The video was captioned as:

“Madhuri's birthday special episode mein aaye unke husband dance ke manch par, jaha hui unki khaas mehmaan nawaazi.”

When Shriram Nene appeared on Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa

Well, this is not the first time that Shriram Nene has joined his wife, Madhuri, in front of the camera. A decade ago, Shriram appeared on the sixth season of the dance show, Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. During the show, the actress revealed that her husband is quite shy about coming in front of the camera. Moreover, she dedicated the same song, Tumse Milke, to him.

Madhuri Dixit married Shriram Nene in 1999

Madhuri married Shriram Madhav Nene, a Los Angeles-based cardiovascular doctor, in a traditional ceremony in October 1999. Her husband had no clue about Madhuri’s celebrity status in India. Following her marriage, Madhuri relocated to Denver, Colorado, taking a hiatus from showbiz. Later in 2003, she welcomed her first son, Arin and then Ryan in 2005. She moved back to Mumbai in 2011.
