She shared that she had met him at a party at her brother’s house and revealed that he had no clue of the kind of films she has done. She added that Shriram just knew that she's an actress and opened up about the moment when she had realised that he was the one. She said:
“He didn’t know exactly. Because he’s grown up there. And 17 years you have to study to be a doctor out there to specialize in Cardiothoracic surgery. And so, he was very busy and he had not really seen my movies. It was so refreshing when I met him. We were just talking about various things like normal people. So, it was so wonderful to see him and talk to him. And then we met again and I think we started talking a lot. And we met and then dheere dheere of course, I started realising ‘Yeah, Tu Hai Mera’.”
Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene's kids, Arin Nene and Ryan Nene prefer to stay away from the limelight. In the same interview, the 'Dhak Dhak girl' shared that she gave her kids a very normal upbringing and has always taught them that their deeds determine who they are. Talking about the same, Madhuri said:
“Absolutely. That’s important to create good people, like they have their aaji, aajo, they have their jiji, jijo. They have them around all the time. They interact with them, they love them and friends. Whatever you do in your life, whatever you do should determine who you are. Not what you become or what you get out of it. But what you’re doing is what defines you. And that’s what I’ve taught them.”

“My fame has never touched them and they are very nonchalant about it. Through friends they sometimes feel like, you know, they say ‘oh, who’s your mom? What’s her name?’ and if he says ‘my mom is my mom’ they say ‘oh, we know she is Madhuri Dixit and you’re so lucky to have her’. So he’s like, ‘Mom, you’re just my mom.' They are good people and that’s what I want them to be.”
