Fans Accuse Makers Of Sidelining Madhuri Dixit's Stellar Dance To Highlight Alia Bhatt In 'Kalank'

Madhuri Dixit undoubtedly rules zillion hearts with her unparalleled dancing skills and beautiful smile. The diva debuted in the world of glitz and glamour with the 1984 film, Abodh, in which she played a young bride. Gradually, Madhuri explored different genres of films and became the most popular and sought-after actress of her generation. To this day, Madhuri is appreciated for her dancing skills, and no one comes close to her grace and elegance.

Madhuri Dixit took a hiatus from acting to concentrate on her personal life after tying the knot with Shriram Madhav Nene and embracing parenthood with her two sons, Arin and Ryan. In between, she did a few movies like Aaja Nachle but had a big break with the 2019 film, Kalank, in which she starred as a supporting character but completely overshadowed the main cast with her acting and dancing prowess.

Madhuri Dixit shot the end sequence on Tabah Ho Gaye in one shot

Madhuri Dixit is a trained classical dancer, and her moves and expressions are utter perfection. Recently, a Reddit user shared a behind-the-scenes video from the track, Tabah Ho Gaye from the film, Kalank, where Madhuri can be seen gracefully performing the ending sequence of the song. The actress did the entire shot in a single take, that too with utmost perfection, even at the age of 52!

Netizens accuse makers of sidelining Madhuri Dixit in Kalank to highlight Alia 

Taking to the comments section of the BTS video, netizens started to point out how the makers chopped off the part of the song to highlight Alia Bhatt. A user wrote, "Still can't believe a filmmaker sliced through parts of a Madhuri song, with choreography by the legendary Saroj Khan, to show that pathetic mess of a love story", to which another user replied, "Because Aloo baby had to be the new Kathak queen. Remember how she was dancing at every promotion." Another fan penned, "Also, how they made Alia dance and Madhuri just stand and applaud for Ghar More Pardesiya."
