Madhuri Dixit Calls Her Tour 'Meet And Greet' After Backlash, Fans Angry After Buying Rs. 40K Ticket

Forever the 'Dhak Dhak girl', Madhuri Dixit has fans going gaga for her, decades after setting foot in the film industry. As a result, when the actress announced her 'Dil Se...Madhuri' concert, fans did not wait a minute to buy the tickets. However, the Toronto leg of the tour faced a lot of criticism with people finding it lacklustre and unorganised. Amid this, Madhuri Dixit's concert is now officially being called a meet-and-greet. This has angered fans who splurged heavily on tickets.

Madhuri Dixit's concert dissapointed fans, now being described as a fan meet-and-greet

Madhuri Dixit's USA-Canada tour has landed in trouble after fans found it disappointing. The audience alleged that, although it was marketed as a concert, with expectations that the actress would perform, she barely danced. Instead, Madhuri conducted a question-and-answer session. Additionally, the audience also had to wait for three hours for the actress to arrive. As fans called out the organisers and Madhuri for misleading them by calling it a concert, even though it turned out to be a chat, the event description has changed. Now, instead of a concert tour, it is called a fan meet-and-greet.

Madhuri Dixit recently shared a post on her Instagram page about her upcoming 'tour' dates. However, on the poster, it was called a meet-and-greet. Even the previous Toronto was called a fan meet, with Madhuri thanking her fans for making it 'lovely'. Madhuri has also disabled the comments section for past her Toronto concert announcement.

Netizens call out the description change of the event after paying a huge amount for 'Dil Se...Madhuri' concert tickets

The tickets for what was previously described as a concert ranged from Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 40,000. It started with General admission at Rs. 13k. Then, nearly Rs. 30K for VIP admission and Rs. 40K for Elite. Fans who paid these amounts for the tickets have called out the organisation, Madhuri, and her team for not making the event worth the price. The post announcing her USA meet and greet dates is filled with ticket-holders expressing their disappointment.

One Insta user wrote, "Thanks for updating the name to a Meet & Greet...it would have been nice to know this for your first show in Toronto!! We were expecting more, at least one or two performances, not a fireside chat! We love you, but deserved better from your promoters in Toronto. It was not only disappointing, but it was deceitful to charge what they were charging for this format." Another netizen penned:

"It’s unfortunate that you’re now stating it’s a meet and greet after your Toronto audience including myself spent our money without having the proper information."

A third user wrote, "Toronto show was horrible. I see they now added 'meet and greet'." A fourth Insta user wrote, "But you owe Toronto an apology for fake advertising…your own post on your profile doesn’t call it a Meet and Greet. You say an evening of dance, music and celebration."
