2022 was a challenging year for the popular actor, Mahesh Babu and his family. In the same year, the actor lost his brother Ramesh Babu on January 8, 2022, and then his mother, Indira Devi on September 28, 2022. And now his superstar father, Ghattamnaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy aka Krishna left for the heavenly abode on November 15, 2022. However, one question which is circulating in the media is why Mahesh Babu didn't chop off his hair even after his father's demise.
For the unversed, Mahesh Babu's father, Krishna has acted in over 300 films and is also the recipient of Padma Bhushan. He was reportedly dealing with depression after losing his wife and his elder son. Following this, the veteran actor suffered cardiac arrest and left the mortal plane on November 15, 2022. On November 27, 2022, Mahesh Babu appeared in the Pedda Karma ceremony, which was in honour of the late legendary actor, Krishna. He also interacted with the audience and shared what he had learnt from his father. While talking, he also got emotional.

Soon, netizens got curious about why Mahesh Babu didn't shave his head even after his father's demise. As per a report on Tollywood.net, Mahesh Babu has a pipeline of projects, thus, if he would have shaved his head, then it would have delayed his work for more than 6 months. This is because the amount of hair growth he has right now will take a minimum of 6 months to take the same form once again. Another report on news18.com stated that Mahesh Babu had done hair transplantation with QR hair patch technology, but it gave a completely natural look.
Earlier, we had stumbled upon some of the heart-wrenching moments from Mahesh Babu and his family's preparations for his father, Krishna's last rites, at the late actor’s residence in Nanankramguda, Hyderabad. Many stars from the Telugu industry visited the late actor's abode to pay their last respects. In a video, we could also spot an extremely emotional Mahesh Babu who was seen meeting many guests as they came to offer their last respects to the superstar. However, when Mahesh Babu hugged an acquaintance, he couldn't stop himself from breaking down.

Mahesh Babu's mother, Indira Devi demise at 70 on September 28, 2022, which was also not an easy moment for his family. Taking to her IG handle, Mahesh's wife, Namrata Shirodkar had written a heartbreaking note for her late saasu maa. She mentioned endless love for her saasu-maa and had penned:
"We will miss you deeply... You're in my memory and all the love you gave me. I will shower on your son and your grandchildren and more. We love you mummy. Sending you endless love and light."
